If you like to get away from the hustle and bustle of life then this is the place for you. This cozy and romantic cabin has spectacular vistas of Park City and the surrounding ski resorts. Located at 8200 feet above sea level you will have a commanding view of the valley below. Having a morning cup of coffee or tea in the hot tub with over a 200 degree view of the Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges is phenomenal.
This cozy cabin sleeps two couples with a twin Aerobed for a fifth. It has a free standing gas fireplace for heat. The queen bed in the loft has a down comforter plus a DVD and TV for movie enjoyment. Downstairs there is a sleeper sofa with a Posturepedic foam mattress to put on top with a down comforter. The flat screen TV has satellite and a home entertainment center for movies and music. To keep in touch with the outside world you can use WiFi for your laptop.
In the fall the colors of the aspens and scrub oak are amazing. The moose are frequent visitors from July to September. Although they are wild you can view them as close as ten feet from the cabin windows. In the winter the brilliance of the snow and sky give a sense of wonderment unique to this location.
If you are craving a little more excitement you can have it just a 20 minute drive down the mountain to Park City or Kimble Junction. Night life, dining and shopping are within easy reach of your lodging.
In the winter you can cross country ski or snow shoe from the cabin. There are plenty of roads for ATVs in the summer. This cabin will provide a unique experience that will stay with you forever. Food can be arranged ahead of time if you wish. Winter demands that you have a four wheel drive vehicle and the knowledge of winter driving. This is not a hotel with concierge service. It is for the person or persons with an appreciation for nature and solitude. We hope you will appreciate and enjoy the natural beauty of this truly spectacular location.

Why the Owner Chose Other Park City Properties
Our daughter lives in Park City along with our two grandchildren. She had purchased a mountain cabin to live in and when we first visited her there we were struck by the beauty of the location. It is 8200 feet in elevation and has commanding views of the valley below. My wife is originally from Norway and I am from Minnesota so we are used to snow and driving in it. We live in Santa Barbara, CA but love to visit the mountains in all seasons. To us the tranquility and natural surroundings of the cabin far outweigh the convenience and hustle and bustle of being in town. Time tends to slow down for us there and we feel replenished when we have to leave. It is simple living at its best.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Each season has its own particular beauty. The renewal of spring with plants coming to life after a long winter's sleep is miraculous. Summer brings an abundance of mountain flowers with every hue of color, from reds, yellows and blues to everything in between. Fall has its own color scheme as the leaves take on iridescent color of yellows, golds and reds with the deep greens of the pines as a backdrop. Finally, winter can be unpredictable with its fury or can be a silent blanket of white with a stillness that is magical. Throughout these seasons the sky is the element that changes with the most frequency. It is a prism that we view all this nature through. Be it rain, fog, sun or snow, it is ever changing and none of it is in our control. That is what makes it special to us.
