Spacious, new, ground-level, Non-Smoking, half Duplex on 100 foot wide deep water canal in beautiful Key Colony Beach (1900 square feet). Great Fishing! Located on the West side of canal to beat the afternoon heat. Ocean and Gulf (via Vaca Cut) minutes away. 37.5 foot stationary step down dock easily accommodates your large boat. Dockside electric and water. The palm trees sway gently in our Southern Breezes.
Master bedroom has KING-size bed, cable TV/DVD/VCR, phone with answering machine, and private bath with double sinks. Medium bedroom has two full-size beds with cable TV/VCR. Third bedroom has queen-size bed with cable TV and pocket doors. Living room has queen-size sleeper sofa, 32 inch TV with cable, DVD/VCR, and stereo.
Gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar features all new cookware, dinnerware, and small appliances. Kitchen also features dishwasher, cable TV, microwave, ice maker, and ceramic top stove. All linens and most furnishings are brand new. This home was just purchased and everything has been re-decorated to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. A full-size washer and dryer are on the premises for your convenience. No need to over-pack all those extra clothes!
Cook your catch on the new gas barbeque and enjoy your meal at one of our two patio tables or if you prefer, have the chef at one of the local restaurants clean and cook it to your taste and prepare your side dishes. After dinner, relax on the lounge chairs while you watch the boats go up and down the canal. Morning coffee never tasted so good, either!
The house has central air with ceiling fans in every room. Tile floors throughout enhance the beauty of the decor. Everything is here; just bring your luggage!
Two blocks away is a Nine Hole Par Three Golf Course (greens fees - under $10). Tennis courts, shuffleboard, bocci, basketball, and a children's playground are also in the complex. Nearby are three jogging paths of varying lengths. Three excellent restaurants, a deli, a charter fishing fleet, kayak, canoe and small boat rentals, as well as shopping are only a few blocks away. (Walking distance for some.)
The Marathon area offers dozens of fine restaurants and shopping. Several banks and ATM's are close by and Key Colony Beach has its own post office if you want to mail a picture of "The Big Catch" back to the folks in the office.
Be our guest at the CABANA CLUB which includes use of the ocean-front heated pool, lounge chairs, private white sandy ocean beach, hot tub, game room, along with snack and tiki bars. Don't forget to bring the beach towels from the house, sunscreen, and your swimsuit, too!
Be our guest at the KEYS FITNESS CENTER located a few miles away in Marathon. Renters may use this facility for FREE. Dry Sauna, free weights and a large assortment of excercise machines are available for use. Refreshments are offered for sale and you can hire a personal trainer if you like.
And don't miss the spectacular sunsets at Key Colony's own Sunset Park, just a short walk from the house! Locals start to gather there about 20 minutes before sunset to bid goodbye to another "Day in Paradise." Don't forget your camera!

As for our stay at your place in Marathon, it was wonderful. We really had a great time and caught a lot of fish. The weather was perfect and we were able to go offshore about 30 miles several times. We caught some nice size dolphin and yellowtail snapper. For me, the highlight this year was having the manatee come right up to the dock. I have never been that close to one before and didn't realize that they love to drink fresh water right from the hose!! Feel free to use any of these pictures on your website. My family stayed at this beautiful property during Memorial Day week of 2004. Everything is absolutely perfect.... the owner has covered every detail to make sure you really feel like it's your home. It was so nice to sit on the backporch and just relax. We also had a great week of fishing! We decided that this was our summer getaway place every year!! C Bree
