This was a perfect short vacation for me and perfect in everyway! My BFF and I needed a much deserved getaway for the girls. It was as perfect as it gets. The owner was so very helpful and made it seem she was our personal vacationg travel guide. I don't think the pictures do justice for Casa Paloma, not to mention the Casa had everything we needed and more. Taos was soo.. very nice but then we found ourseleves yearning to go home and just drink wine and enjoy the outside patio and listen to the quiteness that was offered. The personal touches in every room did not go unoticed and and gave me the total sense of being in a 4 star hotel. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when i visit again, and hope to be soon!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We have skied TSV twice--each time renting a home and this was a delightful, clean and cozy place for us to retreat to every evening. The pictures do not do justice to the home's local flare and soothing decor. The set up was perfect for our family of 4, including two young boys. We cooked and ate-in most evenings, just as happy with the Casa de Paloma atmosphere, as a restaurant. We found the detailed "Welcome" binder helpful to a "T" and appreciated how much thought went into anticipating visitors' needs and questions. The location is ideal; close to eateries, shopping, skiing AND BASKIN ROBBINS! By day, we conquered the ski runs and at night, we all indulged in the dessert runs to Baskin Robbins. Ski runs and dessert runs--a perfect combo for our family, all based out of a perfectly cozy home. We would stay at Casa Paloma again without hesitation, as well as recommend it to family and friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Casa Paloma is a wonderful place. Winton has thought of everything. Very quiet location but still close to plaza and downtown. The condo/duplex is wonderfully decorated and back patio is great bonus area. We enjoyed a lovely last weekend before returning from long road trip. Kids were very comfortable and dogs enjoyed the cool floors. We would like to visit next time during ski season and check out Taos' slopes. Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the lovely Casa Paloma. My husband and I vacation in Taos a minimum of four times per year, and we both agree that Casa Paloma is THE ONLY place we plan to stay in the future. Winton is a delight and was so kind to attend to any questions we had, to gave us a great rate, and even allowed us to spend an additional night when we just did not want to go home. Winton absolutely knows what top notch customer service is all about. The Casa is perfectly stocked, very clean, and beautifully furnished. This home has such a comfortable and positive vibe! We will definitely be recommending Casa Paloma to all of our friends and relatives, and we cannot wait to return! Thank you, Winton!! If you are coming to Taos, I highly recommend Casa Paloma. Our family of four had plenty of room. You will get what you see in the photos. A tastefully decorated, clean place with a great selection of artwork and that Northern NM character. It is at the end of long street off the main highway, which makes for a very quiet spot. It has parking right in front and it is centrally located. Three supermarkets are within a five minute drive (Albertsons is very close). There are many good retsaurants in Taos, within a ten minute drive of Winton's place. Do not miss The Love Apple and El Meze for gourmet meals at affordable prices. The plaza and other Taos attractions are also a short drive. We were in Taos to ski. The drive to TSV is about 30-40 minutes and is very scenic. We were able to sit out back in the late aternoon to enjoy Taos' warm spring weather after skiing. The hot tub accomodates two. Winton was a pleasure to deal with. If we come back to Taos, which I hope happens sooner than later, we will be in touch with Winton to try and arrange a stay at Csasa Paloma again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
