There is a lot of good in this condo but also a couple of bad things as well. First, the set up, decor and location are absolutely gorgeous. It's decorated beautifully and very comfortable. The outdoor space is really great but it could use a lounge chair out there. It's within walking distance to everything in town and very close to the beach; the view from the balcony is great. But the noise at night is sometimes a bit loud. We could hear the trucks, cars and people laughing it up. There were four fiftysomethings in our group and we tend to be "early to bed, early to rise" people so it caused some issues. The TV's also don't work very well. There is a TV in each bedroom and one in the living room, but they are all on the same receiver so they all are on the same station. The master bedroom doesn't receive the signal very well so it goes in and out quite a bit and lots of the channels don't come in. You don't go to Cabo to watch TV, but like I said, we are early to bed so we enjoy watching a bit in the evenings before going to sleep. The lights are also an interesting design; very complicated at first until you figure it out but not exactly what you want when you are renting. Had an issue with the ceiling fans; all the batteries were dead and then one of the remotes disappeared for two days (turns out the maintenance man took it to have it worked on but no one told us so we spent time looking for it) which didn't make my sister happy at all (she really needs the fan to sleep). The hot tub is completely useless; it NEVER gets hot. We tried to use the "heat booster" several times but it never got even remotely warm. Asked the concierge and maintenance men about it but never really got a good answer. So really the bad was all just silly stuff but brings the overall experience down from "Excellent" to "Good". Really a beautiful property and if none of these things are an issue, then I would say to go ahead and pursue the rental. We enjoyed our visit but just could have lived without some of the issues.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car.

I just wanted to drop you a line about our stay in Cabo. First we could not be happier with the unit. It has surpassed our expectations on every level. The condition, the furnishings and all the accessories are all excellent. Your management team has been no less the perfect. So all in all we could not be happier. We look forward to meeting you in October.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

What an amazing condo that is so beautifully furnished and decorated! The pictures just do not do it justice! We were in walking distance from the Office, Baja Cantina and everything Medano Beach has to offer! The owner Michael is a sweet heart and had the management company and concierge meet us on arrival with fabulous margaritas, fresh home made salsa and chips too. It is a block from all the shops and Luxury Avenue Mall and the gorgeous marina with alfresco dining and restaurants....no car was needed! We are definitely going back to Cabo next year so pencil us in Mr. Gross...we will not stay anywhere but your wonderful place at the One Medano Beach Resort! About the owner: I am an executive in the aircraft business living in Atlantic Beach, New York. We are beach lovers at heart and truly indulge in water sports, boating, sun bathing and are "foodies" which in it self could have a couple fall in love with Cabo San Lucas. We purchased this amazing unit on the only safe swim beach this year (2009) at One Medano Beach so our sons and ourselves would have direct access within walking distance to the beach, the marina and shopping. Instead of having to hear that they are bored all the time...this ultimate location has been wonderful for my family!
Why the Owner Chose One Medano Beach:
We are planning to have our boat transported down to Cabo to live life to the fullest! Along with fine dining, the marina, amazing shopping and the only swim beach in Cabo 60 yards from our door step what more can you ask for! Our sons are amazed by the central location of the resort in relation to the only swim beach in Cabo (60 meters away), onw block from the huge marina, shops and over 50 restaurants in walking distance!
