Why do we call it the Otter House? A family of the curious animals frequents our shores, as do mink, loons and bald eagles. The Otter House encourages you to spend time outdoors even as it provides all the comforts of a four bedroom, all-season home.
Wood paneling and vaulted ceilings throughout, as well as a spectacular stone fireplace add to the ambience. Rest Lake is well named. Relax and enjoy!
Located just off Hwy. 51, we are one minute from the Manitowish Waters Airport and Community Center with its kid-friendly playground, golf range, tennis and platform tennis courts. Rhinelander Airport (RHI) is a 50 minute drive.

Year Purchased: 2009
Jeanne and I have lived in Manitowish Waters since 1991, and I spent my childhood summers here as well. We're avid outdoors people and involved in our community, too. There's nothing like living in a small town.
Why the Owner Chose Manitowish Waters
The rental abuts our own property, though it's quite a distance down the shore. Someday we hope our children and grandchildren will be using it!
The Unique Benefits of this House
We love the wildlife on our property - there are always loons and eagles on the lake, and we have resident mink and otters. It's a tranquil place to live ... even in the summer. Sunrises and sunsets are both spectacular, and you can't beat northern Wisconsin for starry skies.
