Why the Owner Chose Santa Cruz
This area is a prime spot in Santa Cruz, the best weather beaches (between 1st and 41st ave) of any beach in Northern California. When I was researching installing Windmill generator power for the home, the area between 10-26th ave was unsuitable for this due to the low average wind exposure. The beach is the best in the area in terms of the variety of features and weather.

Love the beach, the surfing and the sounds of the waves. Really love the outdoor hacienda style patio and outdoor shower. The indoors is filled with style and luxury far beyond any rentals in the area.
Great Food, Coffees, bakery goods, all kinds of foods and treats. Organic Local Produce. Live Music every Sunday!
The Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor and the fantastic ocean view Crows Nest Restaurant. Really good meals. Buy live crab from the bay at the gift shop nearby.

Built early in the 1900's, my parents purchased this home in the mid-70's. I actually lived in this home during the last 2 years of High School. My wife and I have totally remodeled this home over the past year. It was redesigned, gutted to the foundation, everything replaced, re-plumbed, re-wired and rebuilt, adding the second story Master Suite and deck. My wife and our two teenagers, love this house - and we are sure you will too! This beach is one of the very best in all of California.
