This was the perfect house for our recent girls weekend. It's spacious and clean and very comfortable. We loved the private backyard and while we hadn't planned to, we couldn't pass up cooking dinner one night and just enjoying our time at the house, which is stocked really well - especially the kitchen. We loved the lodgey feel ambiance and wished we were staying longer than 3 nights. Another bonus is the location. It really is walkable to markets, wineries and restaurants. While we had a driver on Sunday, we appreciated being able to walk to 5 different wineries Saturday. [Note: Dundee overall is not especially pedestrian friendly (in some places you are walking on the shoulder of 99), but there are places walkable from this location including Red Hills Market, Dundee Bistro, Tina's and several wineries/tasting rooms.] I also can't say enough about the renters/owners of the property. Shawna responded to me quickly, was thorough and organized. And when I forgot some items after my trip she had them overnighted to me right away. I would definitely rent from her again and hope to get back to this property soon! We are looking forward to making this an annual trip!

Our family gathered for a wonderful holiday visit in this very comfortable and welcoming home for Christmas. As I inquired if this home would be decorated for Christmas (since I broke my leg 12/15) & the owner was so very kind to decorate the main living rooms for our arrival-very much appreciated! There is a covered patio off the back of the house, which could not be more conveniently located in the center of this lovely & whimsical village among the many wineries just south of Portland. We spent most of our time indoors, since most of the town closed for the holiday. We brought groceries, yet there is an amazing market just around the corner. Almost anything else one would need were available at the house-even local wine was available for a reasonable price. The beds were incredibly cozy, dressed in fleece sheets for winter. Shawna was a very gracious host. We hope to be able to return to this house/area in the near future. Highly recommend accommodations!

We stayed at the Dundee home over Thanksgiving weekend. The house is in a perfect location, especially for wine tasting! The house is large enough for 3 couples and has a beautiful patio to enjoy the evenings! You cannot ask for a home that is better stocked with all you need than this one! We have rented many homes and this was certainly in the top 10! We were centrally located to all our events and thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent in Oregon. We will not hesitate to return.

My sisters and I stayed in this spacious house for two nights while visiting the wine country. The house has three bedroom and two full baths. However one bedroom is quite small and the bath available for the two smaller bedrooms was very small. On the other hand, the living room/dining room was enormous. And strangely enough, rather than Oregon wine country chic decor, which one might expect, this house is more Montana hunting lodge/man-cave decor. We were surprised (and put off) by the elk head, two deer heads, and a wild turkey, all mounted on the walls of the living/dining space. And the over-the-top hunting lodge look was everywhere, the art, light switches, lamps, paper-towel holder, even the phone was camouflage (none of us could find it!). None of this was clear from the photos, although the wild turkey is visible, but we had assumed it was a painting. This house is roomy but quite dark and frankly a bit creepy if one is not used to the hunting lodge look.

My husband, one year old son and I recently returned from a four night stay at this fantastically located Willamette Valley home. The house is extremely spacious and would easily accomodate three couples. The house has a hunting theme which seemed a little out of keeping with its location, but our son fell in love with the elk! The owners have provided an abundance of fluffy towels, toiletries and store room basics which makes life that little bit easier when you're travelling. The house is a stone's throw away from some great food - the Ponzi wine bar and Dundee Bistro, plus Tina's and our personal favourite the Red Hills market. Communication with the owners was prompt and they were sympathetic to the mild complications of foreign exchange rates. We would heartily recommend this property to anyone visiting the Oregon wine country!

We recently stayed at this house in Dundee and it was exactly what we were looking for. It was very conveniently located for wine tastings, dinner plans, exercising, and sightseeing. The house was in beautiful condition and very comfortable. We really appreciated having some of the basic necessities available just in case we forgot something-like shampoo, hand soap, dish soap, etc. We walked the neighborhood every morning and enjoyed the nice houses and views. Our favorite restaurant nearby was Tina's. Dundee Bistro was also very good. And the Red Hills Market was nice to have for a sandwich or cheese. We will definitely keep this place in mind if we ever get a chance to head back to the Willamette Valley again.

The owners have provided a beautiful home to share with vacationers. We have stayed in several VRBO listed properties. This is undoubtedly the best equipped unit we have every stayed in. From the well stocked wine rack to the kitchen and bedrooms there was nothing we needed that was not provided. Perfect location for day trips to the local wineries, coast, Columbia River Gorge,McMinnville, Portland etc. Walking distance to several excellent restaurants.

The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dundee. We selected this property because we all like to enjoy good food and wine at dinner and not worry about driving. It worked out perfectly as we ate at Farm to Fork, Tina's and the Red Hills, all of which were excellent. The home was spotless and very well equipped. Dundee is a good place for visiting the wine country and was convenient for day trips to Silver Falls and the coast. We would definitely recommend this property. Shawna was quite responsive and easy to work with.

In planning a wine tour to the Willamette Valley, we selected this home because it had 3 queen beds, so all couples had pretty equal sleeping arrangements, and because there were so many places we could walk to in Dundee. Everything was as described, as well as spotlessly clean. While we did not eat out in town, we did see several restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed dinner on the patio each night and were able to enjoy some of the local wines from tasting rooms within walking distance (Zerba,Daedalus) and a short drive (Erath,Duck Pond). Shawna was very easy to deal with, answering emails very quickly. The only negative was the hunting theme, which one of our group found uncomfortable due to the mounted specimens. I would stay here again

This house was very comfortable and spacious. It's proximity to wineries, vineyards, and the incredible red hills market make it all the more attractive. Shawna, the owner, was a pleasure to communicate with and provides a wonderful house with great amenities. Thank you for making our first willamette valley experience a great one!

The reviews from other guests are spot on. Shawna is great to work with - we had a last minute change in dates and she was quite accommodating. This house is clean and spacious. You can spend your day exploring the area and then come back to the nice living room for a relaxed dinner and a bottle of Pinot noir! The backyard though small is cute. The location cannot be beat if you are trying to do Willamette or a bit of everything. In one week, we went to Portland twice, the Oregon coast once, visited the air and space museum (and the new water park) and did a lot of wine tasting. There is a newly opened upscale market/deli next to the house called the Red Hills market. The owner Jody is wonderful. If you have a special request in terms of meat or cheese, just ask him, he will get it for you. Finally, behind the house you have the famous Dundee Hills AVA - on a clear day, one of the prettiest wine-country in the area is right there...go up the hills and check out Erath, David Lange, Domain Serene and a host of others top producers of Pinot Noir. One note: the house is themed as a hunting lodge - which added to our fun.

This home far exceeded our expectations. The home is gorgeous and well-equipped -- we're talking espresso maker, coffee maker, filters, condiments, spare blankets, the whole nine yards. The location is also perfect -- there are many tasting rooms (Argyle, Joe's, Ponzi, Domaine Trouvere) and restaurants (Farm to Fork, Dundee Bistro) within a few minutes' walking distance. You can drive to most Dundee/Dayton vineyards in 5-10 minutes. The backyard heaters and patio table made for some thoroughly enjoyable evenings. Our group had an infant and a dog, and we all fit very comfortably. Highly, highly recommended!

WOW!! Being from Pennsylvania, we had no idea how perfect a location we selected for our first visit to Oregon. We were so close to many wineries, the coast, Portland, and the Evergreen Museum. Restaurants were also within a short drive. The house was spacious beyond our expectations and yet intimate to sit by the fireplace and read or on the patio enjoying a glass of Oregon wine and conversation with good friends. The amenties of the house made it a home from the moment we arrived. Shawna and Carl are gracious hosts and I thank them for their hospitality. We would love to come back with our friends and family someday and would make every attempt to use their home again.

I stayed with 4 other women and we were pleased with the level of cleanliness, the special touches in soaps, lotions and bedding, and the wine available for purchase. Upon trying to use the radio Shawna was responsive and helpful when I called. We enjoyed Tina's Restuarant which was within walking distance. Not a whole lot else in the area aside from wine tasting which was not our focus. The large hunted animals on the walls give a distinctive decor.

What a fantastic house. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights over Thanksgiving with my parents and teenaged brother. The house couldn't have been more perfect for our purposes. The kitchen was fully stocked, and a great place to make dinner. I loved the hunting theme of the property, and it really felt cozy but still very spacious. The gas fireplace was a nice touch, and we spent a lot of time in front of it. The location is ideal for being able to walk to nearby restaurants and tasting rooms. We all loved our stay at this house, and are already talking about staying again in the Spring. Highly, highly recommend this place.

Perfect home for a girls getaway. It located in the heart of wine country, and walking distance to some great restaurants. The home was well equiped to meet our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with bakeware, stoneware, and other kitchen gadgets. The home is more masculine in decor, but very comfortable, clean, and furnished with nice cozy sheets for the cold winter nights.

Five of us stayed at this Dundee house for a weekend of wine tasting. I can't say enough good things about the experience. Shawna, one of the owners, was an absolute delight to work with and so accommodating. When we got to the house, we were amazed at the location. We could walk to the Ponzi Tasting Room, Dundee Bistro, and Argyle winery as well as several other places. The location couldn't have been better. The house itself was better stocked than my own. It had all of the comforts of home and then some. I couldn't believe it. Our friends who are newlyweds stayed in the master suite which was beautiful. The other two rooms were great size and had the most comfortable beds. The sheets were the most comfortable things I have ever slept on! We go wine tasting in Oregon usually every year and I definitely will always try to stay here from now on. I definitely recommend this house over any place that I've stayed down there.

This place was immaculate and stocked with everything you could ever ask for, including dry goods (paper towels, napkins, spices, coffee and filters, laundry detergent), great kitchen, living area and nice sized bedrooms. The patio is very private and has a grill and portable heaters for the cool evenings. You are within walking distance of some great restaurants and wineries, but others are only a short drive away. We've rented many properties through vrbo, and this is certainly one of the nicest.

We had a great time staying here over Memorial Day weekend for my bachelorette party. It is literally right down the street from restaurants, wineries, and very close to Newberg. The house is comfortable, spacious, has a great patio, and is well stocked in the kitchen for all kinds of cooking. We thought it was a nice touch that there is wine available for purchase right there in the house. We will definitely consider renting this house again.

This is a beautiful, modern hunting themed home and the owners have made a concerted effort to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. The home was pristine. We were there in March for two days visiting wineries and it is a perfect location to get to many of them without significant driving. There are also very good restaurants in the area and some that you can walk to easily. The owner contacted and called me personally several times to ensure there were no problems. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it. You will not be disappointed.
