Life can be hectic, fast-paced, and stressful, and we all need a break sometimes. There is no better place to find rest and relaxation from your busy schedule than at "A Moment’s Peace" in cozy Seagrove, Florida. Seagrove is a small, intimate community close enough to Destin and Panama City for shopping and movies, and far enough away to give you the slow-paced, quiet feel of a small town.
Our spacious cottage is located less than a mile away from charming Seaside, Florida, the perfect place for afternoon strolls and gourmet dinners. "A Moment’s Peace" is part of the Grove by the Sea, a neighborhood that features tennis courts, two swimming pools, a playground, and beach access less than half a mile away (an easy walk and drive!). There are activities for the whole family nearby, including fishing, golf, water parks, museums, and gardens.
"A Moment’s Peace" is a graceful Florida cottage with vaulted living and dining room ceilings and beautiful hardwood and tiled floors. Turn into the meandering drive with its ample parking and shaded carport and you will discover that the house sits on a very private lot with a well-landscaped backyard that overlooks a conservation area lush with vegetation. Enjoy the scenery on the 27 by 27 deck, which features outdoor speakers, and even an outside shower perfect for rinsing off the Emerald Coast’s pristine sand.
And even if you decide to stay indoors, "A Moment’s Peace" caters to your every whim. You can spend your rainy days in the media room, which boasts a big-screen HD TV with Blue Ray DVD player. And if you are divided on what to watch, the living room also features an entertainment center, with TV, DVD, VCR, radio, and CD player. The bedrooms are also large and private. The master suite is a roomy 15 by 20 featuring its own TV and a spacious en-suite bathroom. Each of the two guest rooms has its own bath and TV, as well. The kitchen is truly inviting, boasting Baltic brown granite countertops with tile back-splash, a spacious breakfast bar that seats five, and state-of-the-art appliances. The house also offers a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. Free long distance and Wi-Fi keep you well connected when you need to be connected.

Owner Description
We are natives of Nashville, Tennessee and graduates of SMU in Dallas. We both have busy careers and a busy social and church life. We treasure our time away in Seagrove.
Why the Owner Chose Grove by the Sea
We have been vacationing as a family in Seagrove for almost 20 years. When we had the opportunity to buy this beautiful home, we were so excited. We enjoy many weeks each year there now and really consider it our home away from home. The neighborhood is a great place for strolling, biking or just relaxing and it is so nice and quiet. We can't imagine a better second home.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our home is beautifully appointed and well equipped for most anything you like to do while at home, but of course, the real attraction in Seagrove is the beach-we love strolling to the beach, watching the sunset and enjoy walking to Seaside for events or shopping.
