My family has owned this Condominium since 1993 and completely renovated the interior in the late 90's. I'd definitely recommend this condo. We came up for a ski weekend with two other families - 6 adults and 4 small kids - and this condo served our needs perfectly. In fact, given that the kids are small enough that they stayed in our rooms with us, we didn't even use the loft, but for a whole bunch of older kids it would be great. The place was clean, well-maintained, very nicely decorated, and easy to use all the amenities. Kudos to whoever did the shoveling, as it felt like we were walking through a tunnel to get to the door. Tons of extra beddings, linens, dishes, etc. The location is great - super easy to get to, and though you'll still want to drive or take the shuttle to ski, you're past all the traffic on 89, and in fact it's not far to walk if you ski down to squaw creek. Squaw village is great, especially for groups like ours where at any time some people were skiing, some were with kids either sledding or walking in the village or playing in the kids center... plenty to keep everyone happy. One thing to note: As the owner mentions in his instructions, it takes a while to warm up inside when you get there. If you're coming in the winter, try to get there 4-5 hours before you sleep if possible, or you'll be bundled up at first then wake up roasting.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.
