This spectacular Victorian house is located right in the heart of San Francisco. Built in the late 1800’s and recently restored, the house features stunning 12-foot ceilings, original crown molding, and two historic marble fireplaces. The house is centrally located within walking distance to restaurants, nightlife, and coffee shops. Whether you decide to spend the day visiting popular attractions such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf, or spend the evening at the theatre or ballet, you will be conveniently located to make all of these trips run smoothly.
MAIN FLOOR:
LIVING ROOM: The living room is an elegant room with Victorian-style architecture. It has 12-foot ceilings and original crown molding detail. It has a historic marble fireplace with natural gas insert, and radiant-heated floors to make your stay very comfortable. It also features a beautiful curved bay window bringing a lot of natural light into the room.
FAMILY ROOM: The family room is also Victorian-style with 12-foot ceilings and a historic marble fireplace with natural gas insert. It includes a 50” HD plasma TV, Bose CD/DVD player with surround sound, and radiant-heated floors.
KITCHEN: The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and a commercial gas stove. It has beautiful brick with mahogany wood inlay flooring and stained concrete countertops. The kitchen features a spacious breakfast nook which comfortably seats 6. It opens into the dining room and large deck with a gas grill making it ideal for cooking and entertaining.
DINING ROOM: The dining room has an antique oak table with seating for up to 10. It has an old-fashioned freestanding gas stove and a beautiful antique buffet cabinet. The dining room opens into the kitchen and has brick with mahogany wood inlay flooring.
1/2 BATHROOM: The bathroom is centrally located on the main floor making it convenient for entertaining.
SECOND FLOOR:
MASTER SUITE: The master suite is like stepping into an oasis of comfort and luxury. The master bedroom has a king size bed and features a 50” HD plasma TV and a large walk-in closet. It has radiant-heated floors and a comfortable sitting area with an exquisite gas-burning fireplace. The bedroom opens up to a spacious deck which is a great spot for sitting and enjoying your morning coffee.
The master bathroom exudes elegance and charm. It has a magnificent walk-in shower with a rain showerhead, hand-held shower, and body sprays. It also has a beautiful freestanding two-person tub which is a perfect getaway in which to relax and unwind from a hectic day. The master bath also features a double-vanity, radiant-heated floors, and a flat screen TV that is perfect for watching when you are relaxing in the tub.
3 BEDROOMS: In addition to the master suite, the house has three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen size beds, and one has a full size bed. The bedrooms are all very bright with beautiful crown molding. There is also plenty of storage space in each room for your personal belongings. The house comfortably sleeps 8 adults.
2 FULL BATHROOMS: The two bathrooms on the second floor are elegant and spacious. One bathroom is located in the hallway, and the other in the master suite (see “master suite” for description). The hallway bathroom has radiant-heated marble floors, and features a porcelain tiled-shower, and a beautiful porcelain sink.
DECKS: The house has two large decks, both overlooking the ground-floor patio area. The first deck is adjacent to the kitchen. It has a gas BBQ grill and a patio table that seats four. The second deck is accessible from the master suite and has a lovely view of the lower-level deck and ground-floor patio area.
PATIO AREA: The patio is situated on the ground floor and is a wonderful area to relax in the afternoons. It has two patio chairs and a table as well as a lovely trellis with blooming bougainvilleas.
PARKING: Parking is free and is reserved on the street in front of the house.
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: The house comes equipped with a washer and dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. An outdoor gas BBQ is available for use.
LOCATION: The house is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance to restaurants, nightlife, and quaint coffee shops. It is also close to several popular attractions such as Golden Gate Park, Haight-Ashbury, Castro District, Japantown, and Fillmore Street. Alamo Square with its spectacular view of the famous “Painted Ladies” is located only 4 blocks away. The San Francisco Symphony, Opera House, and Ballet are a short 5-minute cab ride away.
TRANSPORTATION: 4 major bus lines are all within walking distance, with quick access to the entire city. Cab fares to most major attractions in the city range from $6 to $12.

Why the Owner Chose NoPa (North of Panhandle)After spending much of our lives in San Francisco we always dreamed of owning our own Victorian-style home. What made this home especially appealing to us was that although it was in disrepair when we first purchased it, it still had a lot of its original detailing. We could see the home's potential, and liked the fact that we could add our own personal touches and customize it the way we wanted to. Location has always been very important to us as well. We really love being able to walk out our door and have quaint coffee shops, well-reviewed restaurants, and popular San Francisco attractions all at our fingertips!
Excellent deep dish pizza that is featured in many travel books such as Lonely Planet.
The park is an easy walk at 1 mile away. You could also catch a bus and be there in a few minutes. Golden Gate Park features museums, a golf course, and botanical gardens to name a few.
NOPA is a San Francisco restaurant, serving urban rustic food and specializing in organic wood-fired cuisine. They serve simple food created with seasonal ingredients sourced from local purveyors.
The Painted Ladies are a group of Victorian houses that face Alamo Square. They are often featured in films and television. Most notably the opening scenes of the television show Full House.
"The Haight" is know for its role as a center of the 1960s hippie movement. It now features many shops and restaurants.
The Fillmore is a historic music venue. In the mid-1960s, The Fillmore became the focal point for psychedelic music and counterculture in general, with acts such as Led Zeppelin and The Grateful Dead.
