This cozy, private, luxury log cabin is perched on the side of the mountain at an elevation of 3,000 feet. It features one large bedroom with a king-sized bed and large closets, lofted ceilings and one bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking and dining needs and the living room offers a view onto the deck and the mountain in the distance. There are no steps to climb to enter this cabin.

The cabin is minutes from historic downtown Waynesville, which offers unique shopping, art galleries and dining experiences. Maggie Valley is nearby and offers the GhostTown Amusement Park; skiing at Cataloochee in the winter; hiking, biking, horseback riding and fishing in the summer. The town of Cherokee is approximately 30 minutes away and offers some of the best trout fishing in NC and also Harrah's Casino.

The cabin is about a 30 minute drive to Biltmore House, Grove Park Inn and downtown Asheville. It is also convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls and the Cradle of the Forest. Some of the best hiking, mountain biking, scenic drives, and waterfalls, are found in this area of the Smokey Mountains.

  • This cabin was perfect for out weekend get away! Becky was very hospitable-a most gracious hostess. The cabin is very cozy and has the most comfortable bed! The view off the back deck is wonderful. All very close to Waynesville! We truly enjoyed our stay!
