For the ultimate vacation experience, we invite you to stay in our deluxe OCEAN VIEW COMPOUND in Porta Fortuna. Porta Fortuna is the most renowned, high end, luxury development within the gates of Punta Mita, and exceeds the St. Regis and Four Seasons in quality of build, design and craftsmanship. You will have 5-star-hotel type amenities such as private beach club access, room service, private concierge, private chefs and cleaning staff.
Our compound is approximately 8,000 square feet of wonderfully integrated indoor and outdoor space. The property is comprised of two identical 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, two-story homes, each with private pool, hot tub, golf cart and panoramic ocean views from almost every room, totaling 6 bedrooms and 7 baths. From the outside the property looks like one massive home despite the fact that the two homes do not share a dividing wall. Having essentially two homes at your disposal provides you additional flexibility that you would not have when renting a single home. For example, you will have two pools, two hot tubs, two golf carts, four master suites, and two gourmet kitchens.
The home sleeps 20 guests (four kings, four queens and four twin bunks), has two private pools with direct ocean views, and two private hot tubs off the upstairs lanais that also feature unobstructed ocean vistas. There are plasma screen TVs in every bedroom as well as the two living rooms (eight in total) featuring premium satellite service (offering all the channels you get at home and all available movie channels); full home stereo system (with zones all over the house and outdoor space); a Sonos music library and huge personal digital music library as well as a 300-movie digital library with many of the hottest new releases, and iPod speaker docks in every bedroom. The stylish yet commercial quality kitchen features imported Italian cabinets (Scavolini), a Miele stove, a Viking refrigerator, a Miele dishwasher, and granite countertops, making it a true chef's delight. There are programmable safes in each bedroom (in the upstairs master bedroom the safe is large enough for a laptop).
The interior furnishings were custom designed to integrate with the architecture and design of the villa, a unique blend of Zen and Mexican. Each room of the compound is furnished with designer custom-crafted pieces and, as you can see from the photos, is the ultimate in luxury with every feature you can imagine. (Many homes in Punta Mita are furnished with lower-end furniture designed for "renters"; ours has been furnished for people who expect the same level of design, furnishings and art as the Four Seasons or St. Regis).
The villas facing the ocean are the only ones that have unobstructed panoramic VIEWS OF THE OCEAN from everywhere on the property (master bedroom, upstairs bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining area, pool, hot tub, outdoor dining area, outdoor BBQ area).
During your stay in our community of Porta Fortuna, you will have access to the Porta Fortuna Beach Club, well known as the most exclusive and resort-like beach club within the gates of Punta Mita. Connected to our beach club is the renowned Sufi restaurant. Sufi has quickly earned the reputation of offering the finest food within the gates of Punta Mita, and the friendly staff will even deliver room service from anything on their menu to your villa - a Porta Fortuna exclusive. The club also boasts a private yoga room where you can have an instructor come and teach a session whenever you'd like. When you are finished you can rinse off at one of the four outdoor showers in your villa, then sit down for breakfast (previously prepared by your cook who arrived early that morning to prep; they also cleaned up from the night before). Then you can decide what you want to do that day, your options are wide open...
You will have access to:
3 world class golf courses -- two Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses (some holes viewable from the compound) and one Greg Norman course (opening in 11/09 outside the gates); a driving range and golf lessons; the St. Regis Beach Club (limited access); the Punta Mita Residents Beach Club; the private members-only tennis club with 10 courts (hard and artificial turf); the Four Seasons Tennis Clubs four courts (hard and artificial turf); tennis clinics or private lessons; kayaking; swimming; snorkeling; local or deep sea fishing; boating; surfing or surfing lessons; hiking; riding ATVs; yoga; in-villa spa treatments (massages, facials, etc. all in the privacy of your own villa); days at the St. Regis' & Four Season's Spas, dinner at internationally recognized restaurants like Cafe de Artistes; strolling through the nearby village or beyond to Sayulita (a 15-minute car ride)... the list goes on and on.
You will schedule any or all of these activities through our personal concierge. Upon arrival your concierge will greet you and tour your through the property. They will help facilitate any of your requests and are available at all times. They will stock the fridge before you arrive with all of your favorite foods and can also take advance menu orders ahead of time, do all applicable shopping, deliver the food to your villa and arrange for a chef to prepare each meal and menu item you have requested. The level of service that you will receive in our villa is at the level of any 5-star resort in the world. You will be able to custom craft each day as you see fit and all with the help of an unbeatable staff of professionals. Our staff allows you not to worry about anything other than enjoying yourself and showing up to your tee times or your spa and restaurant reservations.
