The Newport Avenue Lodge is a brand new custom built home in the trendy Newport District situated in Bend’s Westside. There’s wonderful quality touches & craftsman details with beautiful hardwood floors in the living areas, and carpeted throughout the three bedrooms each with spacious king beds. The front covered porch is a primo spot for gatherings or just enjoy your morning coffee. The open floor plan is ideal for small & large parties or any social occasion. Cozy up in front of the rock fireplace and watch a movie on the 42 inch LCD TV. The kitchen is the heart of a home and this one will sure to please with high end stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter room, and easy access to the deck and gas BBQ grill. All of the bedrooms are on the main floor with two on-suite bathrooms. The master suite evokes a calming sense and the bathroom is to envy with a corner soaking tub, dual sinks, separate walk-in shower, and sizable walk-in closet. The loft is spacious and sun filled with a sitting area and a foosball table. The large 17x 23 bonus room is equipped with a full size pool table w/ a ping pong topper, a queen bed, a twin daybed with a twin trundle, and a queen sleeper couch. We stayed at Newport Ave Lodge in April 2011 with a mixed family group of grandparents, adult kids, teens and preschooler/baby. The home is set up nicely for privacy with a lovely master suite, two other bedrooms on the main floor, and a fun area for teenagers upstairs, in the pool table room. The living/dining/kitchen area has a nice open plan for group gathering. Nice location and set back from the street so not too noisy. We'll be back!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family had a wonderful weekend at the lodge! The pictures do not do your home justice. The location was perfect and we definitely hope to rent the house in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family and baseball family spent a wonderful weekend at your "Newport Ave Lodge". I wanted to tell you how beautiful and well equipped your home is. I've stayed at several rentals and this is beyond any other. It felt like home and my grandson, almost 3 yrs old kept saying "can we go back to grandmas house?" We all enjoyed ourselves. We will be back and will recommend your wonderful home. The Newport Ave. Lodge is comfortable, convenient and well sized for a family get together. Downtown is just a quick bike ride (or nice walk) away, as are parks, shops, restaurants and markets. Everything was clean and contemporary and very well appointed. I would not hesitate to recommend this accomodation, and our family would definitely stay there again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We rented this gorgeous house for memorial weekend with a three other families. Our boys were playing in the local baseball tournament. I can not say enough great things about this house! It was so nicely decorated and the lay out was perfect. The location was another huge bonus. Newport Ave is such a cute area, from the Newport market just a short walk down the street, to the park that sits right on the river. We had a great weekend and would absolutely rent this house the next time we visit Bend.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We love Bend's Westside/ Newport District. It's a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood integrated with commercial and local retail businesses, schools and amazing parks all within a mile of Bend’s quaint downtown or 1.5 miles to the Old Mill. We love the easy access to Mt. Bachelor (one right hand turn at the Century Road roundabout and 20 minutes to the base), Cascade Lakes, the four fabulous golf courses within two miles of house, the endless bike trails and of course all the award winning foodie/dining spots within walking distance. It’s an eccentric place to visit or live that oozes character and charm and did I mention 300 days of sunshine!!!
