  This apartment is perfect for a couple. It is extremely convenient to all the popular sights of Rome. We walked everywhere covering several miles a day. The area is very touristy however and the very best time to explore is early in the morning. We were out by 6 a.m. and that was the best time of the day to see sights and also architecture. As mentioned by a previous guest, the kitchen is in need of a facelift. It does not have a microwave as stated on the website and the oven has to live on a high shelf and be lifted down (very heavy and cumbersome) and set up, even for toast. We ended up putting it on the shelf in the bathroom- the most convenient place. The best part of the apartment is the main room, the bedroom which is spacious and comfortable with two big windows and good lighting. The wifi works throughout the apartment. The apartment is very quiet too. Huge plus! But, some mysterious base music was occasionally audible at night so bring earplugs just in case. There is a grocer just around the corner and lots of fun shopping. Paola was responsive and the concierge, Elizabetta, was also helpful. This apartment has a very small water heater and allows just a short ( 2 minutes) shower. Then you have to wait for the water to reheat before the next shower. All in all, we enjoyed it. The location cannot be beat and the car service to and from the airport was prompt and professional.

  We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was located in an ideal position in the city and we were able to walk to all the wonderful sights. The property was clean and The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was rather tired and could do with refurbishment. The shower in the bathroom ran cold very quickly and there was not enough hot water for two quick showers! We were visiting in February and had been advised that the heating would come on at 4pm. In fact it didn't come on until around 6.15 which meant the apartment was cold when we came back from a day out. The owner met us on arrival and was extremely helpful and recommended some excellent restaurants.

  This apartment is a great base from which to explore Rome. As vegetarians we wanted to be able to self cater and the kitchen is compact and well equipped. There is a great Spar shop a short walk away. The apartment is as described and clean and well maintained. We took advantage of the limousine pick up service offered and I was glad we did as it made it totally stress free getting into Rome and making our flights. The driver was prompt, helpful and courteous. The location is fantastic, just around the corner from the Trevi Fountain and in the centre of old Rome. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The Pantheon is not far and there are some churches not too far from that with Caravaggio paintings worth seeing. The Spanish Steps and a lovely park are not far to the north. The furthest we had to walk was to the Vatican to the north west and the Colosseum to the south east both about 30 mins walk. Rome is quite easy to navigate and you will soon get to know the main roads and the landmarks. This apartment is ideally placed to explore Rome. Paola was extremely welcoming and helpful. When our travel adapter plug wasn't working she brought one round for us and we were able to buy one from a pharmacy for the future. We hope to go to Rome again having thrown a coin in the Trevi Fountain and we would definitely stay in this apartment again as there is still much to do and see. We managed to see most of the things in the DK Top Ten Rome book which is a good guide. Would recommend the Keats - Shelley House by the Spanish Steps also. Highly recommended for couples who want to explore Rome.

  Paola was great to converse with via email prior to our stay. She answered all our questions and relieved my fears of being a first time renter through a web site. She arranged our transportation from the airport to the apartment and despite our being over four hours late, our driver was there waiting for us. The apartment is exactly as pictured. Everything you need is provided. The location is perfect. You really can walk to every major site, once you can your bearings down. The restaurants were terrific, the grocery stores are great, and everything is within minutes of the apartment. Most important it is clean and very safe. The hot water is exactly as others have stated. Big plus is the air conditioning. We would definitely stay here again, if we get a chance to go back to Rome. Thank you Paola and Patrick.

  Although I never got to meet Paola because she was on vacation, she could not have been more helpful: replied quickly to e-mails, thorough answers to all questions, booked a very reliable and friendly driver to the airport, left a complete list of local recommendations, even searched through the apartment after we left for something my daughter thought she left behind. (Her sweet parents even came early to let us in when our arrival plans changed and made up an extra bed.) The location is amazing, a cute busy little street literally 30 seconds from the Trevi Fountain (we started calling it "our" fountain and loved being able to see it at all times of day!). It is walking distance to all the main sights and 10 minutes to the metro for further excursions. In spite of the location, the apartment is very quiet inside! It is just like the pictures: clean, modern decor, very comfortable, excellent wifi and air-conditioning, small kitchen but has everything you need for snacks, breakfasts and small meals. Only complaint has been mentioned before -- very little hot water, have to keep showers quick and space them. Still, I would highly recommend!

  Excellent location, 50 meters away from the Trevi Fountain and walking distance from a great majority of landmarks in Rome. The apartment has all the amenities and we have felt like home during our 5 nights stay in Rome. Paula always responded promptly to our Email inquiries and when we have arrived Patrick was there to welcome us and gave us helpful advice. Thank you Paola and Patrick for your hospitality! We highly recommend renting this apartment and we would anytime stay there when visiting Rome!

  The airport transfer which Paola organised was an ideal and most comfortable way to start our trip, meaning no stress about getting into the city. We were warmly greeted by Paola and Patrick upon our arrival in Rome first thing Sunday morning. They spent some time with us showing us around the apartment, and how the various appliances and services worked. They also provided us with information about Rome and some tips for our stay. The apartment itself was a great size for 2 people, and the fact that it included washing facilities and a kitchen was a huge positive. The washing machine was invaluable in summer, as you will be getting sweaty walking around the streets of Rome during the day time!! The air conditioning was more than adequate, and we actually found we had to often turn it down from the default setting. The location is the icing on this cake - wow!! The owners are not exaggerating in their description, it is literally steps from the Trevi Fountain. The biggest bonus of the location however, is how convenient it is to most the sites of Rome. We found we could pretty much walk everywhere from here, and when you couldn't the Barberini Metro station was only a 10 minute walk away. Couldn't recommend this place more highly, and would definitely be happy to stay here again when we return to Rome!

  We stayed at this apartment for one night because the upstairs apartment was not available for our full week until the next day. For the one night the three of us stayed here, it was great. Clean, very nice. GREAT LOCATION!

  This was our first experience with a vacation rental apartment, and overall I would say it was great. Paola was very easy to work with, especially by email which works best for me. She patiently answered all my questions ahead of time. We also took advantage of the car service to and from FCO airport, which was very helpful for two adults traveling with an infant and a car seat. I would say the pictures accurately reflect the apartment. One should keep in mind that this is Rome, and like many other European apartments, space is precious. However, the only place that things felt really tight was in the kitchen. Fitting two adults with a baby required some special maneuvering at times - it was almost funny. The highlights for me: 1. Location: we walked everywhere from this apartment: Trevi Fountain (you can literally see it from the entrance hallway of the building), Colosseum, Forum, Via del Corso, Piazza Navona and Vatican City. All were within 20-25 minutes walking (including navigating with a stroller). There is a great little market around the corner with everything you could need for a few days, and at least 3 different gelato places within a few steps from the front door. 2. The silence: The entrance to this apartment building is on a very busy little side street next to the Trevi Fountain. But you would have no idea of that from inside. It is literally that quiet. Another way to put it: no street noise ever woke the baby at night. 3. Paola: Made us feel very welcome, and even found us the crib for the baby at 9PM when the cleaning lady had failed to set it up earlier. Minor drawbacks: 1. I think the listing states that there is a microwave, but I didn't see one. It would be nice to have one though. 2. Small hot water tank. Definitely need to keep the showers quick and allow enough time for it to refill in between uses (about 20-30 minutes). Neither of these issues would prevent me from staying at this apartment again, or from recommending it to anyone I know.
