Why the Owner Chose Trevi

Love my wonderful city & happy to share it with my guests.

The Unique Benefits at this Apartment

Superb location, at walking distance from the most important sights to be visited. Amazingly quiet despite the popular Trevi Fountain just steps away. And, as the reviewer San Michele said "You'll enjoy being near such a beloved landmark...and the Osteria restaurant, and the gelaterias, and the local market, and the shopping arcade (and ATM), and...you get the idea".

My wife, daughter and I had stayed for week at Tervi Fountain House--excellent apartment suitable for three persons. Its location right next to Tervi Fountain and walking distance from all sight seeing locations. The land lord Paula and her husband are gracious hosts and very helpful. I would recommend to all. Lakhwanis.

We stayed in the Trevi Fountain apartment for 3 nights in mid-October. I agree with most of what everyone else on here says. Excellent location, with close walk to major sites. Wonderful grocery store around the corner that had most supplies and a great bakery, just a little further down the street. Paola met us at the apartment and was super nice. We were 4 people (2 adults & 2 boys-11 & 14 years old). It was a bit tight for all of us, but for the price & the location, we certainly didn't mind. It would be a perfect size for 2 adults. I would stay there again.

My husband and I spent two weeks in the perfectly located apartment near the Trevi Fountain. In spite of its location in a hub of Rome, the apartment was extremely quiet. It is close to shopping if you wish to cook in, close to the information bureau, close to good bus connections. We enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the services that were provided: pick up and return to the airport, concierge.

Live like a local in the heart of Rome and immerse yourself in all the city has to offer!

The location of this apartment is one of the key reasons we chose it and it did not disappoint. We walked everywhere: the Vatican, Museums, the Colosseum, the Forum, Palentine Hill, Trastevere, Termini Train Station, Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, Piazza Navonna, Did I mention you are only a short distance from all of the famous shopping? (or window shopping). If we wanted to go further, the metro was a short walk as well. Rome was very clean, we felt extremely safe and we loved walking all of the little streets to get where we wanted to go. Everywhere you turn and walk is a lovely piazza, outdoor cafe, oh and don't forget to stop into every church you come across... they are amazing and beautiful. Back to the apartment: there is plenty of room to unpack and put your things away. It was very servicable and has everything you need in the kitchen to make breakfast or cook dinner: pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, napkins, paper towels, dish cloth, dish soap. Paola even has extra umbrellas in case you forget yours. As others have mentioned this apartment is an oasis of quiet. We took the option of Wifi and the small expense was worth it. It was nice to be able to wash a few things midweek and they air dried very quickly. We had no issue with the hot water and we could each take a shower no problem. The grocery store just up the street has everything you may need and is very reasonable: bread, meats, cheeses, fresh pasta, wine, juices fresh veggies. There are other dining options nearby and Paola has a nice little list in the apartment if you are looking to eat out or grab a quick bite around the corner. We loved being near the Trevi Fountain. At night after a long day of touring we would take our wine (or a gelato) down to the fountain relax and people watch (you may even witness a marriage propsal or two). In the morning, we literally had the fountain to ourselves. Paola is very friendly and will not hesitate to help you with anything you need. She wants everyone to have a lovely time. We have rented apartments frequently so a few tips: we travel with small snack size bags of spices, zip loc bags, foil, a spare paper towel roll and toilet paper, washclothes, and small disposalbe plastic containers. Even after 8 fabulous days, we didn't get to see it all. Cannot wait to come back to Rome and would stay in one of Paola's apartments again. So what are you waiting for? We tossed a coin in the fountain and we will return!

Very comfortable and clean

We stayed at this apartment in October for 3 nights and were very happy that we had chosen this place. First of all, Patrick and Paola are wonderful hosts. We did not meet Paola but emailed back and forth many times. She was always quick to respond and answered any questions that we had. Patrick met us to let us in and show us in. He was early which was great for us as we were anxious to get started on our tours of Rome. Although the apartment is small, it has everything one needs to make it home. It is close to many attractions and transportation is close by as well. A grocery store just a block away filled our needs for food and drink. We had a small problem with the television but a quick email to Paola and it was fixed the next day. It is possible to walk to many historic places but we would recommend a walking GPS as we did get lost. However, we hopped on a tourist bus, purchased a 48 hour pass and were able to visit all of the places we wanted to. We want to visit Rome again and we will definitely be contacting Paola to book our accommodations with her.

couldn't have had a better location - walked to most sites and information booth and buses were very convient. Nights were very quiet & beds were comfortable. Hot water in shower doesn't last very long, but everything else was perfect - would highly recommend staying in this area.

Great Location & Wonderful Owner

Guest: Janet B.
Date of Stay: 09/24/11 Review Submitted: 10/13/11

My husband and I spent four days in Rome and stayed in Paola's apartment. The location was fantastic, it truly is around the corner from the Trevi Fountain and very central to walk to all the other attractions. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything you needed, the grocery store was very close by to pick up everything including wine & beer. Paola had created a little booklet which had all the details including places to eat, shop and info about the apartment, we carried this booklet around with us and referred to it when looking for a place to eat. Paola's restaurant suggestions were fantastic we ate in 3 restuarants that she suggested and they were all great our favorite was Sora Lucia, good local food & great prices. The pictures and website acurately reflect the apartment and the location. Paola also arranged transfers for us from the airport and to a rental car location which were a great help. We would definately stay here again and recommend it to our family & friends. We loved sitting at one of the trattroria's right near the Trevi fountain and watching the people come and go knowing that our home away from home was around the corner. Best place to stay in Rome-Loved everything about it!

Guest: Smith (Atlanta)
Date of Stay: 09/01/10 Review Submitted: 10/04/11

We couldn't have asked for a better apartment in Rome. The location was so central to everything we wanted to do, and Paola was so helpful with everything we needed. My husband and I spent three nights in this apartment and loved everything about it. We left on the 4th day to travel to Cinque Terre and realized on the train ride there, that we had left our passports and a cell phone in one of the drawers. We were able to contact Paola and she helped get them sent to the post office in Vernazza to our attention. I have no idea what we would have done otherwise. It was very comforting to know that we trusted her to get them to us safely. You will love the Trevi Fountain house. Its cozy and perfect in every way!
