Located in West Townshend, VT, ours is a great family ski house set on 15 private acres with mountain views of 20+ miles out of the kitchen and living room windows! This home features a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level along with 2 full baths including the master bath/bedroom.
This level also has a full eat-in kitchen, a spacious living room and a screened porch. The bottom level has a 4th bedroom and a full bath. It also has a family game room, washer/dryer room and a ski storage room. The house sleeps 9 in the bedrooms and there is also a convertible pull-out couch in the upstairs living room. There are 2 wood stoves and 2 TVs with satellite dish hook-ups. The kitchen is modern and comes complete with everything to cook and serve large meals.
The property features a detached garage with a ping-pong table and a good assortment of sleds. The front lawn of the house is an excellent place for kids of all ages to sled or snowboard down. It is approximately a 20-25 minute drive to the base of Stratton Mountain. It is approximately 45 minutes to Okemo, Mt. Snow and Bromley. There are hiking trails and cross-country ski trails behind the house.

- Snowshoes are in the furnace room downstairs, good to use ski poles to maneuver through the woods and improve balance. Select a pair that feels right before heading out. Cross Country skis are near the back door, shoes are in the utility room. Please feel free to find and use a size that fits you best. Trails are marked in the woods, beyond the garage and fire pit. Markings are in blue or yellow paint. Look for trails the neighbors may have already cut to make things easier! There is a Nordic Cross Country track in Londonderry on Route 11, about 20 minutes away where they give lessons and have rentals.
