The most magnificent views on Topsail... honestly! The house is absolutely fabulous and laid out for your enjoyment... Check out our pictures! With a surround view of the ocean and intracoastal waterway....the best sunsets on the island can be found on the top deck! Did I forget to mention we have our own private beach access with a deck... just across from the pool? We always heat this in the spring in fall... so everyone can enjoy a quick dip!
About Topsail:
Topsail is 30 minutes North of Wilmington and about two hours East of Raleigh. The Island has beautiful sandy beaches with very little traffic (with the exception of check-out time!). A new Harris Teeter with a Movie Theatre will be up and open by summer 2010. We currently have an IGA on the Island that carries all your basic needs and a Food Lion just before you cross the bridge.
There are several great restaurants to enjoy while vacationing or you could just cook at home and relax... while enjoying the most beautiful sunset ever. Kayaking and bike rentals, parasailing and surfing... all are available. A very family oriented island... you will find that once you discover Topsail, you will come back year after year!
About the house:
Perfect for large family reunions, company/management retreats or multiple families wishing to spend the holidays or vacation time together. Each room boasts a comfortable bed and all have private bathrooms.
This eight bedroom home has two dining rooms overlooking the Sound with a bar encircling the kitchen seating 13. Two plasma TV's with two couches and four comfy oversized chairs easily seating the whole group in the family room. And, of course a bathroom on the top floor! Breathtaking views off the front and back decks... This is the tallest house in the area and so you can literally see for miles.
The kitchen is better than home... two ovens, two sinks, two ranges, two microwaves, two dishwashers, two ice-makers - well - you get the picture! Granite counter tops, with all the appliances and amenities you will need to cook a wonderful meal.
The third floor has two large master suites with a Jacuzzi hot tub, shower and walk in closet. Both open onto the back deck over-looking the pool and the ocean. On the far side of this floor are two queen bedrooms, both with private bathrooms and decks with a Sound-view.
The second floor has two additional king bedrooms with private balconies overlooking the pool and the ocean with another family room that has a ping pong table, TV and refrigerator. There is a daybed with a twin trundle in this family room. On the far side are two bedrooms that sleep four... a bunk bed with a twin on top, a full in the middle and twin trundle. These rooms have private bathrooms along with sound-side views on their decks.
The first floor or entry area is where you will find the laundry room. The elevator is just inside the door waiting to take you upstairs to the "room with a view." There is a large private driveway with ample parking as well as carport parking for up to four cars.
