  Rich and Dawn, I just wanted to give you a big thank you! Sunrise Cove was amazing. It was even better than we expected. The pictures did not do it justice. You thought of every detail from the lay out of the cabin to extra towels and dishes. It was very thoughtful of you to include not only menus from local eateries to directions on how to get to them and how long it would take. The beds and pillows were more comfortable than any hotel I have stayed in and the options of showers met everyone's needs. Although the hot tub was quite full of water once all of us got in, we found it quite relaxing and clean (something I don't always have the pleasure of finding in hot tubs). The openness of the main floor gave us the privilege to spread out to do different activities while still being able to communicate with one another. The location for this retreat was perfect. It was definitely the icing on our Bible study and time away. As for me and my family, we will return to your cabin and enjoy it's many amenities again. "If you are lucky enough to even get to visit Sunrise Cove, you are lucky enough!"

  My boyfriend and I brought our children here for a little getaway and it was the best weekend ever. We had 2 teens and 2 preteens. The cabin was amazing. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The views in the mornings and even going out on the boat one evening to watch a beautiful sunset on Patoka Lake. The whole weekend was amazing.

  My husband and I enjoyed this cabin and it's secluded location very much. The directions were easy to follow. The cabin was immaculate and had everything that you could want or need to be comfortable and relax. Wouldn't hesitate to schedule a return trip if the opportunity arises.

  The cabin is lovely and slept family of 5 very comfortably. Family room and bathrooms are particularly nice. Great views of the lake. Relaxing and peaceful. No near neighbors. The pool table was very popular with kids. Good to arrive in daylight if possible as cabin address is not on GPS.

  This is our 3rd time staying at this awesome home. I can't imagine not coming back every year...well of course when Rich and Dawn decide to move there for good and rightly so. This is one of my favorite things to do all year and I'm already feeling the excitement for next year. This place is one of the best if not the best places I have ever stayed. For total peace and relaxation you cannot beat it. Thanks so much Rich and Dawn for sharing your home. By the way the new hot tub is awesome!!!!!!

  I surprised my husband for his birthday with our stay at this one of a kind get away. This home lacks for nothing. It exceeded our expectations and then some. This is a beautiful well kept home. If your looking for something laid back that will recharge your batteries this is it. I can't believe we found this in Southern Indiana. We will definitely come back! The owners are fantastic and will be there if you need them, otherwise you are completely alone. Nothing but peace and quiet and nature.   I took my children and I on a mini vacation - at this cabin. Words cant decribe how wonderful it was. Much larger than described. Everything you need while staying away from home. Beautiful decor, clean, close to many attractions. Owners are very helpful and gave assistance with finding attractions we were looking for. A Great stay. I highly recomend this cabin.

  If you enjoy being away from it all, this cabin is for you! How peaceful to sit on the covered deck and listen to and watch the birds in an absolutely serene and quiet setting. You feel like you are 10,000 miles away from civilization. Even in late spring, with the trees fully in leaf, we could still see Lake Patoka below. It was quite a rugged hike down to the lake, but once we made it down and back up, we enjoyed sitting above it all and looking out at the trees. The cabin is nicely furnished and was very comfortable for the four adults in our group. The lower level has a couple of futon beds and full bath for a larger group, along with foosball, air hockey, a pool table, and a ping pong table. It's a great activity room for a group with kids. And the walkout lower level includes a nice hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed playing games at the large kitchen table. French Lick and West Baden are only a 15-minute drive from the cabin, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the grounds and resort at West Baden. All in all, we enjoyed a stress-free, quiet weekend. Thank you Rich and Dawn for sharing your lovely cabin!

  We found the cabin had everything we needed including lots of kitchen appliances and utensils/serving dishes, etc. It was also stocked with extra blankets which was very helpful! The scenery is beautiful and the directions to the cabin were very helpful. It is tucked away in a very nice setting. We actually apprecitated the extra security walking into it. Thanks for sharing your home!

  My wife and I spent 3 nights at the cabin and the pictures were "spot-on". The cabin was very secluded and quiet and we had a wonderful anniversary enjoying the views of the colorful trees and we could actually see the lake from the deck. We would recommend the place and the owners were very nice to deal with.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
