“La Sala” is an elegant property on the 1st floor of an ancient building set in Pistoia town centre.
The building, situated in the heart of Pistoia, between Piazza Della Sala, today home of a charming fruit, vegetable and flower market, and the charming Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo) is surrounded by ancient churches, monuments and museums. All the services are close by restaurants, bars, shops, buses and train station.
Pistoia, a hidden jewel in Tuscan’s crown, is very well connected by public transportations to all Tuscan's sites and is a perfect starting point to visit this wonderful Italian region.

Pistoia, a hidden jewel in Tuscan’s crown, is a safe, beautiful city with attractions that cause it to describe itself as a “City of Art.” Pistoia is a tourist mixture of history, art, folk traditions, monuments, nature and gastronomic specialties. Everyday, there is a fruit and vegetable market in the Piazza Della Sala close to the Duomo Square, on Wednesday and Saturday mornings there is a large travelling market in the central Piazza and adjacent streets. Restaurants are numerous at prices more modest than those in Florence. Surrounded by beautiful countryside of hills, Pistoia has many monuments to visit and during your visit, there are plenty of attractive bars and restaurants for a pleasant interlude. Even more than Florence, Pistoia is a “walkable” city. From the train station you head directly north soon you enter the jewel of Pistoia, The Piazza del Duomo – clearly one of the most beautiful town centers in Tuscany. Nearby these Tuscany vacation rental you will find a number of sporting clubs with tennis courts, a thermal spa and pool, horse riding stables and golf courses. People interested in nightlife; will not remain disappointed because in the surroundings theatres, discotheques, cinema and night clubs can be found. There are many wine tours in the surrounding area, beyond that in Chiantishire, interesting for wine fans and many wine cellars are opened for the tastings.

Pistoia and the della Sala apartment - what a wonderful setting to spend 10 days. The apartment and location exceeded our expectations. It was well-maintained, roomy and had all the necessary amenities. Internet was not listed but a mobile connection was provided by Titti when asked. She was a wonderful host and available throughout our stay to answer any questions or provide local information. The apartment is at the base of the steps leading to the Piazza della Sala which has a daily fruit, vegetable and flower market. The square also has bakeries, cheese and meat shops as well as numerous cafes and restaurants. It was so pleasant to walk out in the morning and go into the local bakery for fresh bread and pastries. There were also various outdoor markets throughout the week and unique shopping in the surrounding streets. The apartment was within one block (pedestrian area) of the Duomo Square (where we viewed the Festival of the Bear jousts) and was an easy and safe walk to the train station (approximately 10 minutes). We travelled by train to Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Pescia, Montecatini Terme and Viareggio (for a day at the beach). Trips were direct and convenient. Used Come and See Italy Tours for a day trip to the Cinque Terra. They came directly to Pistoia to pick us up. Rented a car to travel to Sienna, San Gimignano and other small towns. Car, however, is not a necessity. If you want to immerse yourself in Italy without the crowds of tourists, Pistoia provides you with this opportunity. It is a small and charming city with ancient churches, museums and squares and a slower pace. Instead of being cramped in a single hotel room and being surrounded by throngs of tourists, experience Italy. Enjoy the people, the architecture, the churches, the markets, the cafes and restaurants and the La Passeggiata (evening stroll). And when the evening ends, come home to your Pistoia apartment. You won't regret it!

Our family of 5, including high-school and college students stayed at this beautiful property in the heart of Pistoia. The accommodations were just as advertised on the site. The level of service that we received from Andrea and Titi (Owners) was more than superior. The level of hospitality that they extended to our family during our stay made our visit to Tuscany truly memorable. They were available to welcome us at the train station upon arrival and ensured that our stay was perfect - The property is conveniently located in the center of town, restaurants, coffee shops, and tourist sites are within steps of the building. The train station is located within walking distance and there is easy, direct access to Pisa, Lucca; Prato, Florence and other nearby cities from Pistoia. The property is equipped with modern appliances, air-conditioning; nice furnishings and modern bath and kitchen. The restaurants in Pistoia offer a great sampling of Tuscan cuisine with a personal, family touch style. Pistoia and this property were the perfect fit for our stay: convenience; charming/small town feel but with alot of activities in the plaza in the early and late evening hours; great accommodations and comfort; fantastic cuisine; ease of travel to other cities and safety.

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is truly an elegant property and very well maintained. The beds are very comfortable the kitchen well equiped, the bathrooms spacious and we were right in the center of all the activity. The listing photos are accurate, it is a beautiful apartment and lots of space. So much nicer than a hotel! I have recommended this property to my friends and relatives. Anyone wishing to spend time in Tuscany could not go wrong. We rented a car and visited many other Tuscan towns that are all very close by. We also used the convenient train to see Florence without having to drive in their busy traffic. The Italians in Pistoia were very welcoming and happy to have us visit. There are many restaurants, wine shops, cheese shops and unique shopping experiences within close walking distance. Great location, great property. Enjoy!

My 3 lady friends and I had such a marvelous time during our 9 nights in Pistoia. What a nice town, lots of street fairs, and great shops and wonderful restaurants. It couldn't have been a better base for using the train to see the entire area. Just a shortish walk to the station and easy access for most of the Tuscan area. Titti and Andrea couldn't have been better host to us. The apartment was perfect for the four of us, even with one bath. I would recommend this to anyone. Ciao! Vivian Smith

We stayed three nights in Pistoia and enjoyed it immensely. It is a quaint and charming town that is not on the tourist agenda. Hence, we got a chance to meet local people and feel welcomed. The apartment is well located and beautifullly appointed -- it has everything you need to be comfortable and taken care of. The proprietor is delightful and treated us very well, inviting us for a swim at her house in the mountains. She was extremely helpful and generous. We visited many other cities/towns in Tuscany including Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, and were very very happy that we had chosen to stay in Pistoia. These towns were all lovely and full of offerings, but there was a specialness to being in a less well known town that wasn't as touristy. Pistoia has many outdoor markets that appear -- one with clothing, the next day with jewelry. In addition, the locals like to enjoy summer nights. We had excellent meals at local restaurants and my son (12 years) played soccer outside the town duomo with local kids.
