Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we've stayed here. This visit saw two couples take advantage of the flexibility of the layout of the house: dining room, two living rooms, three sections outside (porch, back yard w/ table and grill, front yard with gas fire pit; great kitchen is well supplied. Bedrooms are comfortable. Everything is exceptionally clean. Washer and dryer. Excellent visit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was in a perfect location to town, restaurants and wineries. The outside fire pit was awesome. 10 of us wined and dined and chatted for hours. The inside is decorated beautifully with an over the top kitchen. Great for us because we ended up cooking there most of the time. Plenty of room for 8 adults. We needed more seating in the living room so we moved the couch from the parlor room into the living room and it worked out perfectly. The younger adults brought a blow up bed and they had plenty of room and privacy in the parlor roon. The owners are nice and we will all stay there again. Loved our weekend.....

Reviewer Comments: The house was charming and delightful, and such an improvement over staying in a hotel that we all agreed we would definitely do this again! We had a great time. The only reason for my 4-star overall rating instead of 5 is that the two secondary bedrooms and bath are charming and comfortable but not very user-friendly: little or no closet or shelf space, and the bath has a very small and hard to use sink which is draining slow.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Poe House is a beautiful respite just a few blocks from the square in downtown Paso Robles. It easily accommodates 6 adults and has a small yard (fenced) where toddlers can play and roam. The fountains and gardens make it a true oasis. I highly recommend the Poe House - just please don't try to rent it during Wildflower weekend. That's my weekend. :-) I will bea repeat customer until they throw me out! PRVR is a class organization and very service oriented. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful weekend at the Poe House. We stayed for 2 nights (6 adults and 2 babies) and were very pleased with the accomodations. The rooms are a little small so we had to move some chairs to fit the pack n plays in the rooms, but we managed just fine. The house is very charming and clean and walking distance to downtown. The ammenties were great - the only thing missing was an iron and ironing board. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our now-adult family of six enjoyed a quaint and comfoirting five days together over Thanksgiving. We were amazed that the Poe House was fully appointed with every type of kitchen necessity. It had also been specially decorated for the season by the care-takers. The fresh flowers and complimenary bottle of wine made us feel welcomed too. Our only critcism would be that the "period" decor left very little light to read by. We would defintely recommedn this precious get-away to friends and family.

Reviewer Comments: Comfortable and cozy, this historic property is in the most convenient location, walking distance to all downtown Paso Robles has to offer. The house has wonderful character and all the modern conveniences. Wish the weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed the lovely wrap-around porch with its many sitting areas as well as the fire-pit in the side garden.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Poe House was a great choice for our weekend stay during the Harvest Festival. Centrally located, with just a short drive to wineries and right next to downtown, it's in the perfect spot within Paso. We shared the house with 2 other couples, and the amenities were great: Viking stove, propane BBQ pit, and an outdoor firepit. The kitchen also has a very, very quiet dishwasher (so you can do your dishes overnight), and washer and dryer is also available. We took advantage of the BBQ and grilled every night. The only (small) improvement I could think of is more light in the (beautiful!) backyard, as it gets pretty dark outside, and it'd be great to be able eat dinner outdoors. Overall, it's an incredible house - everything is very well thought out, and full of amazing amenities. You won't be disappointed.

Reviewer Comments: Everything about Poe House exceeded my hopes--decor, furniture, complete kitchen, grounds, several intimate places to sit and enjoy the wonderful plants/flowers/water features. Our week was truly a "lifetime memory". We used the professional kitchen each night to make a family meal for 13--the young men who did the cooking raved about it. We'd go back in a heartbeat! By the way, below is Lenexa, Kansas (not Lenexa CA).

We were in town for our daughter's wedding and rented several houses for out-of-town guests and family. The Poe House felt more like a Home than a rental house. It was clean, comfy, beautiful, airy, well equipped, well-maintained grounds, For our needs it was perfect. Afterwards we had guests forget some valuables at one of the houses. The staff we above and beyond to return the property to us. Very honest!! We would HIGHLY recommend the Mary Agnes Poe House and working with the staff!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second Thanksgiving at the Poe House. Everything about it is wonderful! The bedrooms are lovely with cozy linens. The bathrooms are clean and perfectly appointed. The kitchen is spacious and nicely equipped. The yard and garden are safe and fun for both the grown-ups and our small children to enjoy, and the location is ideal! We loved using the grill, sitting together at the big dining table, and lounging in the living room, enjoying the complimentary wine and chocolates. Thank you for another great experience!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three couples spent three days visiting wineries in Paso. The house was perfect. Very clean and well maintained. Great kitchen (we cooked two dinners and three breakfasts), dining room accommodated six adults comfortably. Nice living room and an additional room at the front of the house gave everyone plenty of room to spread out. Wireless internet worked great. Porch on one side of the house and gas fireplace and sitting area on the other, as well as a nice back yard with barbecue gave everyone options for getting out of the house. Quiet neighborhood. A few blocks to downtown and a local grocery store makes the location an excellent one. We plan to stay here in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There's nothing "rental" about the Mary Agnes Poe House. It is beautifully decorated without the excess of some historic homes. The kitchen is amazing. The beds are super-comfortable. The grounds go on forever and there are endless special spots to sit and enjoy vacation. It is very fairly priced and the location is perfect for enjoying downtown Paso Robles as well as getting out to the nearby wineries. It was even ideal for the 15 month-old and 4 1/2 year-old in our group. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Poe House provided a great home base for visiting Paso Robles. The owners were responsive and thoughtful and all of the amenities were provided. We look forward to revisiting.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was immaculate and well maintained. Very comfortable for a family of 5. There was a slight odor when first entering the house but this became un-noticeable within a few minutes. Very quiet residential street - not quite easy walking distance to town for younger kids. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would recommend the house to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great Home Base for "The New Wine Country" of Central Calf. A " Great " Calf Bungalow ! Lot's of outside seating. Sand box if you have little people! Has all you need. Can walk to all local restaurants, and shopping. Saw lots of deer, and the flowers on property were beautiful!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is adorable. It is well furnished and was very comfortable for the five of us. It offers several garden-like outdoor sitting areas where you can enjoy good friends and a bottle of wine. It is an easy eight block walk to the center of downtown. I highly reccommend this rental for parties of 4-6. We will deinitely rent the Mary Agnes Poe house on our next visit.
