Costa Bonita Paraiso II is paradise. Entrance from the street is through a 24 hour guarded gate into lush tropical landscaping, ponds, and waterfalls. A walk through the lobby brings you to the palapa and pool area and then the beautiful beach.
Our 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath condo, 203B, is high enough for a clear view of the ocean but low enough to feel connected to it.
The living/great room has 7 floor to ceiling bay windows overlooking the ocean. The sunsets from here are spectacular. This area is furnished with 2 leather couches and 2 fabric chairs providing a comfortable environment for watching satellite TV or VCR/DVD movies on the 37” LCD HD TV. The location of the condo within the complex provides for wireless internet service within the unit.
The lanai has spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. This provides the perfect setting to entertain, play cards, dine, or just relax and watch the sun set while enjoying a margarita.
The fully equipped kitchen has granite counters and stainless appliances. The complex has reverse osmosis filtered water providing unlimited ice and water in the condo. The side by side refrigerator has an automatic ice maker providing through the door ice and water.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has a SELECT COMFORT SLEEP NUMBER BED imported from the US. These beds are U.S. dimensions which are larger than Mexican mattress standards. SELECT COMFORT SLEEP NUMBER BEDS allow you to set the firmness level to your individual liking.
All 3 bedrooms have balconies. The guest rooms overlook the landscape grounds and the master opens to the large lanai that views the ocean. The master bedroom also has a second 32” LCD TV provided with satellite TV service.
Paraiso II has all the amenities of a luxury resort including tennis court, hot tub, jetted indoor exercise pool, outdoor infinity pool, fitness center, game room, convenience store, gas grills, sauna room, steam room, masseuse by appointment, palapa bar and restaurant. The most important amenity is the terrific location on the North Cerritos beach. This beach is a beautiful 3.5 miles of sand, providing a great place to walk, surf cast, para sail, sun bathe, build a sand castle, find a sand dollar, or just go for a swim in the ocean.
Rental car is not required to explore all the city of Mazatlan has to offer. Public transportation is located at the front entrance. It is a short bus, cab, or pulmonia (open air vehicle) ride from Paraiso II to the Marina, Golf Course, Golden Zone, the Malecon, or Historic Old Mazatlan. All transportation is very reasonably priced.
In December 2007, NY Times rated Mazatlan 24th out of the 53 best places in the world to visit. It is on the Tropic of Cancer latitude which allows for near perfect weather. Besides good weather, the area offers fishing, hunting, golf, tennis, snorkeling, para sailing, water park, horseback riding on or off the beach, tours by boat, shopping, history, tequila factory tour, art galleries, good restaurants, and most importantly friendly people.

Year Purchased: 2008
We are native Minnesotan's that resided in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area while raising our family of two children. During this time we spent almost every winter vacation in Mazatlan, Mexico at various resorts.
Retiring in 2001, we decided to find a new residence away from the Minnesota winters in the Bradenton, Florida area. This has been our home for the last 8.5 years.

Why the Owner Chose Mazatlan
On our 2008 vacation while walking the beautiful north beach of Cerritos point we decided to tour the Costa Bonita Paraiso resort complex. We were duly impressed by the quality construction, the condo amenities, and the floor plan of the unit we purchased. These features, coupled with the high end resort services and amenities, convinced us to purchase a pre-construction unit which was delivered in April 2009. We have not been disappointed by our decision. We are sure you will agree.
