This is a 980 square foot unit in a town home complex. The area is quiet and located on the northwest side of town. It is cozy, fully functional rental that combines Arizona sunshine and ECONOMY.
McDowell Mountain State park is 6 miles away, Ft. McDowell Indian Casino is 5 miles and it is only 12 miles to Old Town Scottsdale and all of its shopping and dining. There are 5 golf courses within 6 miles including Fountain Hills' original Desert Canyon course, and 4 of Golf Digest's top 100 Public Courses. The Mayo clinic is within 5 miles and this unit will provide you with all of the amenities you need at less than 1/3 of the price of any nearby hotels.
The unit has brand new furniture and carpeting and comes with the use of 1/2 of a two-car garage. There is a small patio in front and a bistro set for smoking guests (no smoking in the unit).
There is coin-operated laundry facility next door that is shared by you and two other units. The pool area is close enough to walk to but far enough that you won't hear it at night. There are no neighbors above or below this two story unit. Both bedrooms and the bath are located up stairs and there is a living space, dining area and kitchen downstairs.
Other things to do include:
• ARTS AND CRAFTS - enjoy two spectacular annual events; November and February, both held within walking distance of our home.
• HIKING & BIKING - McDowell Mountain Park offers both & is nearby. GRAND CANYON views & hiking are 4 hrs North. Saguaro Canyon State Park & Mt. Lemmon are 2-3 hrs South.
• BOATING and FISHING - several lakes are within a 30-90 minute drive.
• Spring Training BASEBALL. There are 9 teams that paly in the Phoenix metro area.
• Popular SNOW SKIING areas - Flagstaff, about 2 hours North; the White Mountains near Pinetop, about 3 hours Northeast; Mt. Lemmon near Tucson; about 2-3 hours South.
• THEATER AND CONCERT – check out the Fountain Hills Community Theater, the Fountain Hills Chamber Players, and/or the “In-home” Concert Series. Symphony goers - several nearby communities offer programs throughout the year. Jobing Arena in Glendale is home to football, ice hockey and concerts by many big name stars (60 minutes).
