Secluded mountain house with pristine fishing stream directly in backyard. This newly refinished home has three bedrooms. Master has very comfortable king sized bed and the other two have equally comfortable queen sized beds. There are four single beds and a queen sized sleeper sofa. The kitchen has an island which seats 6 and a dining room table which seats 6.
Some other amenities include a water purifier/softener unit, two separate hot water heaters a jacuzzi bath tub, large kitchen and family room, open first floor plan. Take in the beautiful views on the deck of the stream, and listen to your beautiful surroundings.
You are nearby many activities. We are 2 miles from Big Boulder convenient to Jack Frost, Camelback and the Tannersville outlets, Pocono race way, Penn's peak. Even though you are surrounded by 24 acres of woods you are close to restaurants, food stores, gas stations and more.

Our names are Laura and Gary Pearce we have three children, two boys and a girl. We love the outdoors and have very active children. We live just outside Philadelphia.
Why the Owner Chose Albrightsville
We bought this vacation property because we found ourselves renting for weeks at a time during all seasons of the year. Our family loves to ski and in fact this year did a white water rafting trip with friends and i couldn't have been more convenient with the rafting buses right up the street. Skiing as well is very easy to get to.
The Unique Benefits of this house
The benefits we enjoy are the fact that everything is so close to get to, and yet we are so secluded on our 24 acres. It is so nice to hear the sound of the stream in the backyard. Nothing is better than coming back to the house and relaxing. Also if things (ski gloves or bathing suits) are wet there is a full size washer and dryer and everything is ready to go the next day.

I was sorry to hear about our renters disappointing stay. We have had a recent death in our family and our dudilegence in the house may have been less then par. We made the mistake of trusting the previous renter to clean up after themselves since we live 2 hours away from the property. We did pay the people for there time to clean up in the bathroom which was accepted by them. In all our 4 yrs. in renting our house we have had nothing but rave reviews and are recomended to friends and family and have many repeat customers.

Gary & Laura, Thanks for letting us rent your peaceful mountain home. This is the most private setting we've found in the poconos. A great place to getaway and relax. But, what makes it a good night every night is the beds. We never found a place where all the beds are good beds. We love it here. We will keep coming back. Thanks again J&K

We were disappointed in this property. It hadn't been cleaned since the previous renters, including molding food in the cabinets and hair on the sheets. The bathroom needs renovation - toilet not solidly attached to the floor - the jacuzzi bathtub was an old, regular size bathtub with jets in the basement. Beds were comforatble, and the kitchen had what we needed, but it wasn't a homey place to stay. Glood place to eat breakfast, and leave for the day.

House and property in general were perfect for 10 guys coming to play paintball! We found the house clean and well kept, ROOMY, comfortable, and absolutely accomodating! There is a great pizza place a minute away, Skirmish (paintball) was 5 minutes away, and the stream out back was perfect to jump in and cool down afterwards. New kitchen served us well and the deck definately got used. All-in-all a great time.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
