Beautiful home located next to horse pasture with views of Mt. Sopis out the back windows. Very private and serene location on the Ranch of The Roaring Fork. A short drive to Ski the four Aspen Ski areas without the prohibitive cost of Aspen lodging. Hike, Fish or Bike the three hundred plus acres of common use land with 3 trout filled steams and seven ponds and two and one half miles of the Roaring Fork River. Trout fishing the best in the area. Nice three par golf course, tennis courts on property. A short bike ride into Carbondale or take the Rio Grande Bike path to Basalt, Aspen(25 miles) or North into Glenwood Springs (14 miles) and enjoy the famous Hot Springs Pool. The house itself is ranch style, wood and white tiles through out very light and airy.

Year Purchased: 2000
We split our time between Denver and Carbondale. Robert is a retired Professor of Human Services at Metropolitan State College of Denver and Robin still teaches Human Service classes there. We have three adult children who greatly enjoy bringing their friends and loved ones to the mountains for a relaxing time spent hiking, bike riding, golfing and fishing. Robin loves to peruse the elusive deals in thrift shops in Carbondale, Aspen and Glenwood Springs while Robert pursues the not so elusive trout.
