We split our time between Denver and Carbondale. Robert is a retired Professor of Human Services at Metropolitan State College of Denver and Robin still teaches Human Service classes there. We have three adult children who greatly enjoy bringing their friends and loved ones to the mountains for a relaxing weekend in all seasons. Most of our time, here, is spent fishing, hiking and biking this magnificent valley , listening to music at the Aspen music festival , and watching sunsets in our beautiful backyard.

Staying at the Watson's home in Carbondale was more than we ever could have imagined. We arrived late in the evening, and couldn't see the extraordinary view of Mt. Sopris which was right outside the backyard. We loved the privacy and beauty of the landscape, both early in the morning with the frosted dew on the grass, the beautiful horses, and the sun shinging on the tip of Mt. Sopris. We enjoyed riding your bicycles during the day into Carbondale, having a delicious breakfast at the Village Smithy and then returning to watch the sun set in the lakes and streams while walking the grounds of the beautiful ranch. The evening, of course, was topped off by taking a dip in your hot tub, watching the stars, and even getting to see several shooting stars....Thanks you for your hospitality, and beautiful home to vacation in.We will most certainly make this a yearly event !

Nice home in a relaxing and friendly neighborhood. We enjoyed the private backyard views of the horses and Mt. Sopris. Very roomy and loved the heated garage! The home owners are great to work with and provided lots of help and local information. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly rent this home again.

Thanks for a perfect week in your beautiful home. We loved how light and sunny it was. My daughter loved playing the piano while my son loved feeding the horses right outside your backyard. My husband and I just sat in the backyard relaxing and gazing at the beautiful view of Mt. Sopris. It was a little piece of heaven.

couldn't have wished for a cozier home for our family reunion. We loved sitting in the family room with a glass of wine gazing at Mt. Sopris while the kids fed the horses apples that had come up to the fense in the back yard. Thanks for a great stay
