Year Purchased: 2005
I am a registered nurse and I live in the bay area. I lived in McCloud and graduated from McCloud High School. I love the fresh mountain air, the outdoor activities and the ability to get away from the city. McCloud always smells like flowers to me.
Why the Owner Chose McCloud
I love the area and when staying in a vacation rental for New years, decided to buy the house. The snow was so deep that in order to look at the house we had to climb over piles of snow .
The Unique Benefits of this House
Since the house is in town, it is nice to walk to town and eat or shop at one of the boutique shops. The local people are very friendly. The McCloud river and it's three water falls are a short drive, as is the local golf course, and Lake McCloud. Mt Shasta Ski Resort is a 5 minute drive and offers mountain biking in the summer.
