Overall, a worthwhile stay. The grounds are spectacular, the guesthouse comfortable, but small. Bedrooms are large, but sitting area cramped and limited dining area. Had we been able to eat outside (rainy) would have been better. Pool & jot tub shared with owner( not clear on website) & hot tub didn't work well , tho eventually repaired. TV 's HD capable but not on HD service. Great location, minutes to fine dining & countless wineries. Also Napa Valley SP 2 miles away, a hidden gem.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Dear Capt. Jack, Thank you for describing our property “a hidden gem.” We appreciate you staying with us and we take a lot of pride in making our property an amazing place to vacation. We are sorry that the rain interrupted your stay and dining experience. We value your feedback about our dining seating. Currently, we have two dining chairs by the inside table and additional chairs in the dressing area and on the deck. We will certainly keep your feedback in mind as we consider furniture placement and selections in the future. You also mentioned that it isn’t clear that our pool is shared with the main house. We checked our VRBO page and found the following information listed under the pool description: “Communal Pool: The pool is only shared with the owners in the main house. It is located between the guest house and the main house.” We have added additional wording to the overall description to make sure this information is highlighted. Thank you again for your stay!

The title describes it perfectly then you get a bonus of how peaceful and serene it is. The landscape and placement of facilities is excellent. I enjoyed waking up to my view out the master bathroom--great, relaxing way to start the day. The pool and hot tub best ever! I actually hate to say all these things because I want it to be a hidden jewel that I can get reservations at any time. I fear word of mouth will make this impossible to get a booking.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Swimming in the cool blue infinity pool, gazing at the breathtaking view of the mountains and the cabernet producing vineyards below is about as close to a zen experience you can have. Branch House is one of the world's great vacation places to unwind. The guest house is spacious and elegant, yet warm and cozy with a fireplace for chilly nights. The master bedroom has high, beamed ceilings and a luscious king size bed covered with Pratesi sheets and a goose down comforter. Both the bedroom and living room open on to an outdoor terrace where breakfast feels like dining in an enchanted forest. If you aren't the veg-out type, you can play basketball, bocci, tennis, jump on a trampoline, jog around the 80 acre property, get married or repeat your vows in the stone amphitheater. It's that romantic. The hosts Jen and Frances are charming and very helpful. If you time it right, Frances will race you up and down the vineyards in her ATV picking you vegetables or a bouquet for your table. The photos don't do the place justice. It is that awe inspiringly beautiful. And so was our two weeks spent there.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My husband and I spent 10 wonderful days at the Branch House Guest House. It was amazing! The photos on the website are very accurate, in person the property is even more beautiful. The grounds and the guest house are beautifully maintained, very clean and comfortable. The grounds keeper was available during our stay to answer any questions we had. I would recommend the guest house to anyone looking for a quiet vacation in the wine country. It is a perfect combination of privacy and access to great restaurants and wineries. We could not ask for more. Thank you for sharing your wonderful property with us. Love it!!! Victoria & Colin.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

My girlfriends and I have the happy tradition of getting together every Spring for an indulgent weekend in Napa. We are always on the lookout for accommodations and wineries that offer private experiences, off the beaten path. I am still patting myself on the back for having found this place. The guest house, grounds, and gasp/swoon, the view: a perfect blend of luxury, seclusion and comfort. We did not want to come off Diamond Mountain.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

What a fantastic spot. Great place to call home. Almost painful to leave and go drink wine. The bocce court, the pool, the hot tub. I suggest at least a 5 day stay that way you can spend at least a day or two just relaxing and taking in the sights. Excellent directions and hosts, nothing but courteous and professional. A great spot for a family with 1-2 pre teen and well mannered kids or two couples looking to make memories. Thanks againRecommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
