One of a kind Wine Country Getaway!
This Mediterranean guesthouse is located on a private luxury vineyard estate on 80-acres atop prestigious Diamond Mountain. The property is nestled within the finest Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in the Napa Valley and boasts breathtaking views of the Valley. It’s only minutes from the renowned spas of downtown Calistoga, the world-class restaurants of St. Helena and dozens of wineries.
The guesthouse has use of the following estate features:
• Enormous new infinity pool and hot tub that overlook the Napa Valley
• Sport Court with tennis court, volleyball, basketball, hockey, soccer and nighttime lighting
• Bocce Court
• Expansive lawn
• New Giant Chess set / garden
This beautiful guesthouse features two spacious bedrooms and a private terrace with amazing views. The large master bedroom has an antique king-sized poster bed, flat-screen TV, direct access to the deck and adjacent master bath (with dressing room and extra-deep bathtub and separate shower). There is another large bedroom with two twin beds (can be pushed together to make a king-sized bed) across the hall with its own adjacent full bathroom.
The living room is furnished with an overstuffed sofa and armchair near the wood-burning fireplace, dining area and huge flat-screen TV. The living room opens onto the expansive tiled terrace where you can take in the view from the outdoor dining table or curl up with a book on one of the comfy lounge chairs. The guesthouse is air-conditioned and there is a separate washer and dryer below the terrace. A crib is available upon request. Four guests maximum.

The other reviews are right- this place delivers much more than expected. Totally secluded on Diamond Mountain but only a short drive away to Calistoga and St. Helena. The grounds and amenities are amazing. Our stay was much too short, and we plan to return here very soon!

We have been home a week from our stay at the Branch House and people are so tire of hearing us tell them about the wonderful time we had in California, specifically at the Guest House at Branch House. What an amazing property! The drive up the mountain is spectacular and the property is fabulous. The pictures on this website do not touch the beauty that you will experience. I hope you have the opportunity to rent. When you come you must spend some time in Calistoga and St. Helena, both are the best of the Napa Valley and don't forget to drive over the mountain to the Sonoma Valley. The dining recommendations are so right on and a wonderful experience. The grill on the back patio is the perfect place to having a wonderful evening meal with a spectaular view. We enjoyed walking in the vineyard, every morning in the hot tub, basketball and tennis. The landscaping is emaculate and beautiful. Many thanks to the perfect hosts Frances + Jen!!

Branch house was MUCH much more than we expected!......Thank you J+F! The pictures do not provide justice to the vistas. Tranquil nights below the clear night stars, cool morning walks along the vineyards as the fog lifted and picturesque views from the hot tub/infinity pool relaxed our minds & souls! The close proximity to wineries and top restuarants (CIA Greystone, Brannin's, JoLe) yet not a sound of city life's hustle & bustle. We will recommend this wonderful niche of paradise to our friends and relatives. Don't miss out!

While many places talk of the possibilty of seeing stars and celebrities, this place delivers the night time stars like none other! The clear mountain sky produces the best stargazing available! Then waking each morning, above the clouds in the valley to a peaceful (note: dead silent) and tranquil retreat...priceless! For time to connect, I cannot think of a better retreat. Enjoy the valley for lunch and winery tours. Grab a bottle (or three), pick up some delicacies in town, and then spend your evening, night and morning in this mountainside haven. Pop to the hot tub to watch the sun go down or watch the sun come up...each view is breathtaking. The beds are luscious, the bathrooms large, the kitchen has all that you could need,... I cannot recommend this property higher to any couple looking to get away from it all, yet still having access to great restaurants, shopping, world class wineries only minutes away. Or to (2) couples looking to maintain or create a long lasting friendship sharing experiences in a beautiful setting with great amenities and no interruptions. This is my second time to this property, and the owners continue to improve upon perfection... Adding a bocce ball court, life-size chess garden, outdoor bathroom, impecable grounds... I look forward to my next visit!

Branch House is amazing. I have traveled to over 20 countries and have stayed in some unique places around the globe. Branch House is tranquil and beautiful, the guest house is well appointed and has all of the modern conveniences you would need to make your stay delightful. The house had wonderful bedding, everything was immaculate and clean and there is a nice deck on which to enjoy a sundowner or dinner. The grounds and landscaping were fantastic - the foliage, trees and infinity pool were all designed by a master and maintained lovingly. The views from the pool of the Calistoga Valley are stunning, we had to pinch ourselves to believe that we were experiencing something so special and romantic. The Branch House is also very high up in the hills so you will have complete quiet and privacy while you are visiting.

This guest house is everything it appears to be and more. The grounds and guest house are impeccably maintained. The hillside air, scrubbed by the mature trees and plantings on the property and surrounding it, is a tonic. It is convenient to amenities in Calistoga and to all the attractions of the valley, but it is a world of its own, quiet and completely private.

After our first stay in July, we started making plans for our return! Being able to spend Thanksgiving in this magical location was in a word, perfect. Cozy down comforters, romantic fires in the fireplace, walks through the vineyard, even a yummy soaking tub in the master bedroom... what could be better? The house is close enough to "town" to be convenient to wineries, stores and the area's top-knotch restaurants, yet it's a world away. We chose to cook in several times during our stay just because we hated leaving the grounds but being just a couple of miles away from the Culinary Institute is tempting indeed. We can't recommend this amazing guest house highly enough... and can't wait to get back again. Thank you Franc and Jen for creating such a wonderful home away from home.

I spent three days here in November and had a really wonderful time. It's a beautiful, private property with great accomodations. Jen and Frances are helpful hosts and are easy to work with.I can strongly recommend the guest house as a great place to stay in a visit to the Napa area and I hope to return soon.
