All I can say is "WOW"! We mostly stayed on the Hilo/Puna side - hiked to volcano (grueling, but worth it), snorkled in the tide pools near Kapoho and were amazed - saw 25+ species of fishes! We loved meeting locals and learning Hawaiian culture... but mostly we soaked up the soothing ambiance of this place. The kids LIVED in the pool..... and the sounds of the ocean - VERY ROMANTIC (ask the house's "lucky gecko" and his lady friend! They were very....inspiring (they live near the tiny window :)"
