  I've been renting in Avalon for almost 30 years and this house easily ranks among my top 5 favorites. The location is excellent - a few houses from the beach on a very quiet street, yet close enough to walk to Brian's for breakfast. The ocean view from the front deck is beautiful and the house has everything needed for a great beach vacation. I especially appreciated being able to use the bicycles. We spent a long weekend - girls only - and we all enjoyed happy hour on the deck. We all commented that the downstairs family room would have been perfect for teens & tweens with its gaming units & tv's and french doors to close off the noise yet still be able to peek in & keep an eye on the kids. Mike & Lisa were very helpful & friendly - not one negative thing to say about the house. It was spotless, tastefully decorated and very comfortable.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  this is our 3rd year here and it keeps getting better and better. we have already signed up for a 4th..house is large and roomy, backyard in ground heated pool great for kids and adults. 4th house from the beach is absolutely great when vacationing with children. we had 3 generations vacation in this house and we all loved it..will be back in 2013

  Lovely house,exactly as advertised. Great pool, a few houses from the beach, ocean views from the deck. Spent 2 weeks relaxing there and can recommend this house as extremely livable. All appliances in good working order. The owner goes out of his way to be certain that things are to your liking. Would recommend this to a friend without hesitation. Hope to rent it again in the future.

  This property has everything you need for a great beach experience. It is a one minute walk to the beach, on a quiet street, offers a pool where you can relax and take a break from the waves, and is in great shape. The owner keeps the property very clean and in great condition. The house offers almost any amenity you would want during your vacation. Our family had a fun-filled and relaxing vacation and I would recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the best of the Jersey shore at any time of the year.

  This was my families 2nd vacation here. It was supposed to be a one time vacation but we enjoyed it so much we had to come back. The house has all the amenities you can think of including an extra refrigerator for those vacation extras. It is very clean and the living room is spacious enough for all to sit comfortably. The owners are accessible if you need them and make staying here very personable and friendly. This year there was a slight issue with the pool and the owner shopped around the island herself to get the part needed to fix it immediately. We are so spoiled here I can't imagine being treated like this anywhere else.

  We hosted a family reunion at this lovely contemporary home which deserves a hearty recommendation for condition, location, and amenities. The owners, Mike and Lisa, are extremely responsive hosts who work to assure a good stay for their guests. The bright airy rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool and outdoor decks both front and back add so much for outdoor dining, sunning, etc. Our three generation group of 10 was not crowded, yet there was privacy for reading and quiet times too. It does not feel like a rental, but does feel like a home. The pool was nice for the grandkids and parents as well. Avalon's recreation program is great for kids of all ages. Ours ranged from 7 to 16 and all were very happy here. We enjoyed the beach, SeaGrill on 21st., Tonio's Pizza, Avalon Family Grill, Avalon Coffee Shop, Pirate Ship miniature golf, shopping in Avalon and the nearby theater in Stone Harbor. The lifeguarded beach is just three doors away. Avalon's recreation program is great for kids of all ages. There's something for everyone. Walk into town or onto the beach. It's all close by in a marvelous place.

  My family and I had a wonderful time at this spacious home just steps from the beach. The location couldn't be better. We were lucky to have very warm weather and it was easy to spend plenty of time at the beach. The pool was perfect for relaxing after the beach. We enjoyed being close to a playground, close to mini golf, and also close to ice cream shops. The house was nicely maintained and the owners are kind and very responsive. Overall great experience for the whole family.

  Our family enjoyed a great week here. The home is nicely furnished, well equipped, and suited a three generation group's needs just fine. The owner responded promptly to any questions or concerns. A short distance to the zoo and kayaking were extra bonuses. The pool is very nice and got a lot of use and we liked the proximity of the beach and ocean. We were very pleased.

  This was our second year at this property. We had a great time. We love the town, the beach only 4 houses away, the pool, and the property's amenities. The house is always very clean, the street is quiet, and everything works well in the house.

  Many memorories were created as our first family vacation with my two sons and 5 grandchildren. We found this vacation home better than expected from the virtual tour. It was so spacious with many of the amenities you find at home. The kitchen had all the conveniences you could ask for. The open floor plan was great in keeping the family together when playing cards, watching tv, cooking, etc. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings on the upper deck overlooking the ocean. Many times my son commented on the pool being the best feature as this is where the entire family spent the late afternoons. I would recommend this vacation home to everyone of all ages. I feel I am spoiled and would not be happy renting anywhere else. Mike was very attentive in making sure everything was in working order. Thanks Mike!
