This was our second year at this property. We had a great time. We love the town, the beach only 4 houses away, the pool, and the property's amenities. The house is always very clean, the street is quiet, and everything works well in the house.

Many memorories were created as our first family vacation with my two sons and 5 grandchildren. We found this vacation home better than expected from the virtual tour. It was so spacious with many of the amenities you find at home. The kitchen had all the conveniences you could ask for. The open floor plan was great in keeping the family together when playing cards, watching tv, cooking, etc. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings on the upper deck overlooking the ocean. Many times my son commented on the pool being the best feature as this is where the entire family spent the late afternoons. I would recommend this vacation home to everyone of all ages. I feel I am spoiled and would not be happy renting anywhere else. Mike was very attentive in making sure everything was in working order. Thanks Mike!

Perfect Family Spot

We have rented homes for several years in Stone Harbor and Avalon, and this house has the best of it all. Ocean views, close walk to a guarded beach, and a pool. The home was very clean, has great amenities like TVs with cable in the bedroom, and a fully equipped game room that is perfect for kids. The neighborhood is very quiet and comfortable. The owners were great and obviously wanted to make sure our stay was positive.

Celebrating My 60th!

I rented the house and invited my whole family to celebrate my 60th birthday. The home is beautiful well appointed with everything you would need - even an iron and ironing board, which one of my daughters can't be without even at the beach. The house is situated in such a way that it accommodated a young family with two small children and grandparents on the first floor without too much encroaching (toys) upon my husband and I and our adult daughters on the second floor. The den on the first floor was such a blessing for their early morning children risings. The huge open area on the second floor comprised of the kitchen/dining area and living room area went a big way into allowing need personal space for 3 separate families. The storage was unbelievable - kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms and the patio and pool made for a great gathering spot in the early evenings. Easy access to the beach was a welcomed plus.

What a fantastic vacation. The house was perfect, it was just like being home, but with a much better view. What a great place to relax and unwind. It was so comfortable, and convienent and the beach was great. We all just loved Avalon. We can't wait to go back.

An Avalon Gem

This home was just perfect for us! We were in Avalon for a family wedding and were very pleased with this property. It was comfortable, very well maintained and had lots of room. The family room on the first floor was a bonus and great for the young ones, and with all its amenities it kept them entertained. The upstairs living room, kitchen and dining areas were spacious and opened to a lovely deck with ocean views. Easy access to beach and short walk to downtown Avalon. Since it was early May it was too cold to use the pool but what a plus in the summer weather! One thing that is very important to us when we travel is the comfort of the mattresses and again everyone was pleased and very happy with their beds. Owner was very helpful and communicated promptly. Would definitely recommend this property. Hope to return next year!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The pool was beautiful and having twin 3 year olds, I really appreciated the large steps. They played on that large step the way they play in the baby pool. The location was perfect as well. Such a short walk to a beautiful beach. Also nice renting from good people that care about your stay and put so much effort into making it a great experience. my family's experience in renting this home in 2010 exceeded our expectations. the 1/2 block walk to the beach and the backyard pool were great. the house was kept in excellent condition. probably the fact that we all agreed we would like to comeback next year pretty well sums up our stay

Great location near the beach. All rooms are very clean, modern, spacious, and the house offers a view of the ocean as it is 4 houses from the beach. Well-appointed and well-kept house and pool with plenty of amenities. Owner is responsive and prompt.

Great house and vacation. The house is located 4 homes away from a great swimming beach and there is a wonderful pool in the backyard. The house is just a 5 to 10 minute walk to the main street of Avalon. Both upstairs and downstairs have a great common area and entertainment center. The house is in great condition and is clean and well kept. Really enjoyed our visit.

Eleven of my family members spent a week in this fabulous home and absolutely loved our stay. The house definitely exceeded our expectations as we did not get the entire feel from the pictures. Everything is in great shape - very nicely decorated, spacious, and comfortable. We loved the kitchen/living room area which easily accommodated our large family for group meals, etc. Although not quite beach front, it seemed as if it were as there were only a couple houses to pass and you were at the beach in seconds. There were plenty of decks off the house and ocean views from both the living room and the front deck. We enjoyed evenings on the deck where you could hear and view the water and feel the ocean breeze. We were so glad we opted to rent a house with a pool. We spent the day at the beach and later in the afternoon we would return to relax by and swim in the pool. The pool was a definite PLUS! The waves at the beach were great and more importantly the lifeguards were on top of everything - a good thing with big waves and the undertow. It was nice to have the two outdoor showers when we returned from the beach. The location was perfect! Our children - running in age from just turned 13 through 21 walked or biked to town often to many of the ice cream shops- there were sidewalks or bike paths everywhere. You could also walk along the beach or Avalon boardwalk to a small arcade/pizza and ice cream shop. We can't say enough about the neighborhood and town. We did spend some time venturing to a restaurant in Stone Harbor and victorian Cape May and even ventured to the boardwalk/water park in Wild Wood which the kids wouln't let us pass up. We were happy we found the town of Avalon - it was our favorite. We would definitely come back to the town and this beautiful house. We hated to leave and would love to return again sometime for another stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful prior to and during our stay. A definite 5 star!

We've been going to Avalon for years and this is one of the best places we've had. Location was perfect. Its a quieter part of town, but very close to a guarded beach and a short walk or bike ride to shops, mini golf, arcade and restaurants. The house was great. Views from the decks were amazing; sunrise ocean views from the front deck, 4th of July fireworks from the back. Kids loved their downstairs den and the pool. Owners are attentive and easy to work with. All in all a great family vacation. We will be back.

The location of the house is great for anyone, especially those with younger children if you're looking for a close walk to the beach as well as a quiet street. The inside of the house is nicer than the pictures show and very clean and the beds are all very comfortable! There's a "rec room" in the basement that we didn't even use, but would be a lot of fun for older kids. The pool was great for our children; we have a 2.5 and 5 year old and the steps leading into the shallow end are nice and wide so great for little ones to hang out on. Even at the end of June, the pool water was comfortable. We also enjoyed walking to the town area even though it was a good 10-15+ blocks, it was nice not to have to drive anywhere all week long except to go to the grocery store. I found the owners accessible via email quite often leading up to our vacation and afterwards as well. We would definitely rent this house again.

Avalon Perfection!

This house is even better than the listing describes. It is 4 houses from the beach on a quiet street. The 15th street beaches are absolutely gorgeous and uncrowded. The pool is well maintained and tucked away behind landscaping which allows for sun and relaxation in privacy. The grill in back by the pool allows for comfortable family dining and fun! There are two outside showers and an entrance directly into the laundry room for easy transition from the beach to the pool. The living area is ample and comfortable with spectacular views of the ocean! The house also comes with a two man kayak for enjoyment of the bay life! The owners are kind and courteous and just a phone call or email away. This house provided the perfect backdrop for our family vacation and we would definitely rent it again!
