This famous, distinct and romantic villa sits on the ultimate piece of real estate in the Florida Keys. As the true southernmost house in the continental United States, (not to be confused with The Southernmost House Hotel) it faces both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The panoramic views are spectacular. The paths of the gated and walled front yard pass through a garden of palms and tropical flora.
You will have fun watching the Cruise ships come and go. The shrimp boats, Pelicans, fish, and occasional bald eagle stopping to rest on the flagpole, provide hours and days of interesting relaxation.
The Southernmost, Southernmost House is very nicely appointed. It has 4 bedrooms, 5 ½ baths, three separate living areas, a 60 inch flat panel TV, Piano, and wireless internet service. It is perfect for the discerning group of adults, romantic couple or family. Enjoy the beautiful pool, balcony, private dock, giant patio, and large Viking kitchen. You can walk the one block to Duvall Street and short distance to many of Key West’s finest restaurants and shops.
The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservancy is right around the corner. The Ernest Hemmingway House and Museum and the Key West Lighthouse Museum are also just a few minute walk away. You can entertain grandly here, or with the villas unusual privacy and security, just enjoy all that nature has to offer including our famous sunsets.
You can see a cool satellite view of this home on Google maps. It is the one on South Street with the large swimming pool and adjacent to the Southernmost Point Buoy. Don’t forget to zoom in.

Stayed over 4th of July week. House is beautiful, however for the cost, the management company did a below average job. The shower in the Master bath dripped constantly over the entire 7 days. It was water torcher every night. They also left only 2 Towels, hand towels and wash for each full bathroom. Which we had to use to mask the noise of the drip. No extra, not even linens or blankets? Not fun washing on vacation. When reported about the drip, was told they were aware, but plumber could not come out that week? Other then the annoyance and poor property management, the house and property are absolutely beautiful.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This house was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a place that I could sit in 1 spot and watch the sun rise and the sun set. I was able to do that at this property. All I had to do was turn around. The house was as beautiful as the pictures. I would highly recommend a vacation to this house. We had 4 couples and we all had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the fantastic ocean views!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
