I just can not say enough good things about the beautiful condo on the beach, the view from all windows was just beautiful. Never had to use the air conditioning, the trade winds keep the home so comfortable. Inside the home was so comfortable, all the things needed for a wonderful dinner on the Lani each night as well as very comfortable beds. We will be back again for sure. Thank You The Trefero's
Owner response:Thank you for taking the time to write such kind words. I am always pleased to know that our guests love and appreciate the location of this condo as much as we do. Fantastic experience. Yvonne & Mickey an absolute delight to deal with - prompt correspondance and wonderful suggestions to fill our island experience. Condo was as described and very clean. Pool was enjoyed by all and very appreciated by our children - everyday ended with a little pool time. Central location is a must in our opinion...day trips to the South and North easily planned. Amenities across the street meant more time exploring the island and less having to run around for last minute items. Great restaurant options. We truly feel we have only scratched the surface of what Kauai has to offer and will definitely be returning - G302 may become our new go to island retreat. Again...thank you for making our Kauai experience a wonderful one!
Owner response:My goal for all of our guests is to help make their vacation seamless and easy. I mean what I say and I say what I mean. I want everyone to feel confident that there experience with me will be coming from love and respect. Thank you for sharing your positive experience for our future guests. We had a lovely time here. Location was perfect...oceanfront! It was a lovely view and awesome to hear the waves crashing on the beach. We spotted a few whales spouting in the distance, one breached, and saw the tails of a few of these 'shy' creatures. We were happy to have such comfortable accomodations as the weather was less than perfect. We were able to utilize the well equipped kitchen, play board games, watch movies, some even were inspired to break out their colored pencils and pastels. We enjoyed many walks...in the sunshine and in the rain! The pool and slides are a blast! The hot tubs were nice to relax in at the end of the day. Sunrises (when we were able to see) were beautiful...nothing like waking up to the warmth of the sun on your face. We will definately come back! It was nice to work Yvonne...Mahalo!

We enjoyed the excellent ocean view from all rooms and from the lanai off the living room and master bedroom. The table and chairs on the lanai provided an ideal spot to observe the sunrise while having the morning coffee or breakfast. The central east location provided easy access to the North shore with a reasonable drive to the south shore and the canyon. Another factor we liked is there are several restaurants in the immediate area, including Bobby "V"s Pizza, where we had our Valentine day

This visit to Kauai has been the best and most relaxing vacation yet. The condo was everything yvonne said it was, plus. The beds were very comfortable, the ocean view and sunrises every morning and the great show that the whales gave was great couldn't have been better. Great location Safeway across the street and some shops and short distants to see the different sites. Thank you yvonne for sharing your fabulous place,my sister and her husband and my husband hope to come back again. Bea
Owner response:Thank you for your kind comments. It is always my intent to make your vacation a memorable one. I thank you for the time you took to insure that what I represent is correct. I know every time my husband and I go to Waipouli we love the fact that the ocean front is guaranteed. Mahalo

Our family spent a fabulous week in this condo. The property is stunning and the location on the island couldn't be more perfect. We awoke to beautiful sunrises every morning, and drifted to sleep listening to the surf. The condo has everything anyone could want and is very comfortable. It was very quiet, clean, and Yvonne was wonderful to work with. Our week ended much too soon, but we are already planning a return trip.
Owner response:I am always so happy when our guests truly enjoy themselves and take the time to share their experience. Please be assured that I always try to do all I can to make your vacation a memorable one. Being on the OCEAN FRONT makes the experience complete. Never hesitate to call with your requests. 5 out of 5. From the very beginning dealing with the owner Yvonne was a pleasure. She went way beyond expectations offering help with cars, places to visit, questions about the property. She was honest and extremely helpful. The property Waipouli Beach Resort was stunning. We loved the location, as it was central and we could go north or south on the island in very little time. We also loved that there was shopping right across the street, but when we were in the resort we felt like we were away from it all. The condo itself was truly an ocean front...oh my...I watched the sunrise every morning from our bedroom balcony. We left the door open at night so we could hear and smell the ocean. The furnishings were topnotch and it was just wonderful. We loved that she thought of little things like boogy boards, coolers, beach chairs, laundry soap, games...it was like being at home...only a lot warmer!!! We can't wait to return to Kauai and to this wonderful property!

We could not have been happier with our stay! The condo is beautiful, spacious, well-equipped, quiet, and has a great view of the ocean. Yvonne was fantastic to work with. She provided a list of restaurants, was flexible about our arrival and departure times, was great about responding quickly to our emails and even had a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting for us when we arrived. The complex was also great. The swimming pool was beautiful and the on site restaurant was fantastic. We ate there 3 times during our stay. The restaurant staff was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and the views of the ocean could not be beat. We also found the location of the condo to be very convenient. We were close to the airport (20 min.) and there was easy to access all parts of the island from this location. If we return to Kauai, which I am sure we will, we would definitely book this property again. Kauai is a beautiful island. Great beaches, great hiking, great people, and great weather!
Owner response:Thank you for sharing your positive experience with future guests. I am so happy that your trip to Kauai was all and more than you expected and that you loved the location of our condo. We look forward to having you back in the near future. Mahalo, Yvonne

This was an absolutely great place for our first family visit to Kauai. The condo is very modern, clean and comes with top end appliances. The listing information was accurate - no unpleasant surprises on arrival. There's a large entrance area which is handy when you're returning from the beach with all your gear. The bathrooms are huge and the bedrooms are also a good size. All the rooms have overhead fans, so if you don't need the chill of A/C (which is already on when you show up) then it's easy to keep the place cool with the fans and screened sliding doors to the balconies. The best part about this place is the amazing ocean view. We were treated to a spectacular sunrise every day. The resort is great - nice pool area, designed with kids in mind, friendly staff and an excellent restaurant between the beach and the pool (ocean views). The location is really handy for getting groceries (across the street) and it's an easy drive to north island destinations as well as south and west. I'd have no trouble recommending this place to friends or family looking for a kid-friendly upscale condo with a great view of the ocean.
Owner response:When someone is purchasing real estate the words that you always hear are location, location location. This also applies when you are going on vacation. I am so happy that my guests really enjoy and appreciate the location of our condo at Waipouli. You cannot find better views of the ocean, quiet, private, close to pool and ocean, great restaurants and shopping a short walk away. Convenience all the way!!! Thank you for choosing our Kauai Home for your vacation. Mahalo, Yvonne

This is by far the best condo in which my family and I have ever stayed! Reasons: Everything to which the owner, Yvonne Gilbert, attested was 100% accurate. Additionally, Yvonne goes "above and beyond" to make the condo special. The beds are very comfortable; it is evident that the mattresses are excellent quality. The kitchen is better stocked than any other condo I have ever stayed. Specifically, there is a huge selection of spices, which is really nice because it precludes the necessity of a purchase for only a few days. There is a great assortment of pots, pans, and kitchen appliances. The washer, dryer, and dishwasher all are top quality. The condo is beautifully decorated. Yvonne adds a special touch by leaving "welcome" cookies, candy, and coffee. The ocean view from the condo is phenomenal! Even though the trade winds blow, the outside deck is protected, so one can sit on the deck without everything blowing away. The condo was super clean; the bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. By being located on the East coast, the property is centrally located, so it is 30 - 45 minutes to the North shore and about the same to the South shore. The resort itself is wonderful! The swimming pools and hot tubs are fabulous! We did not have little children with us; however, the resort is perfect for children. It also is perfect for adults. The "icing on the cake" is that Yvonne is an extremely kind person! My family and I can't wait to go back and stay in this condo!!

This was the most luxurious, but very comfortable feeling condo we have ever stayed in. We had to make sure everything was very convenient to parking, the pool, the BBQ, ect...because we brought along my husband's 81 yr old mother. Yvonne assured us we would be very satisfied with the location and she was right!! We also wanted the ocean smell, sounds and sunrise. It was a picture post card!! Since we are avid cooks, we tend to stay in at dinner and enjoy cooking the traditions of the area. The kitchen in this beautiful condo was the most complete and the most upscale of appliances--Wolf and Subzero! The view from the lanai was better than any restaurant on the island! Since this building is slightly tucked in, the wind is blocked and there was never a problem with eating outside for any meal. Our son stayed in Poipu previously and they could not ever go out on their lanai for the wind was so strong! We had fresh fish, lobster, Kauai shrimp along with some Poke (ahi). We found the fish at Foodland and the Fish Express (across the street from WalMart) very fresh and fairly priced. The highlight of the trip was my mother-in-law going down the water slide at the pool! She was quite the talk of the pool that day!! The pool is so beautiful and we hope to come back again with our grandkids. They would just love it! Another highlight was meeting a famous TV actor who was also a guest. So keep your eyes open!!
Owner response:I am so grateful that you found everything about our condo as it was represented. It was so wonderful of you to take your 81 year old Mother in Law to help fulfill her bucket list. I can just see her coming down the slide screaming at the top of her lungs. It is so fun for every age. Thank you for mentioning that we do not have a wind issue on our balcony. Sitting there enjoying a book or glass of wine is so restful and peaceful. Please come for another visit. Mahalo, Yvonne

Where do I begin?! The condo/resort is in a fabulous location, with everything from a grocery store to an ice cream shop (Coldstone...yummy!) right across the street! The owners provided many items in the condo we used for our daily excursions to the beach and on hiking trails. They also were helpful and suggested places to go prior to our stay. The condo itself was pristine, and I have to say the pictures do not do the kitchen or the view justice! We spent an hour or two every morning on the balcony watching the beautiful Hawaiian sunrise. It did not take long for us to relax and unwind from all the stress of wedding planning, etc. The rest of the resort was great (water slides!) and the staff was friendly and happy to answer any questions we had as first-time visitors. Both of us would definitely recommend this to others, and feel that we got a wonderful deal(price-wise) for the experience we had there. It was above and beyond what we could probably have expected at a huge hotel resort, in our opinion. We hope to go back as soon as possible! **One suggestion, the best beaches are literally off the beaten path. So, if renting a vehicle, should invest in one with four-wheel drive! :)
Owner response:I am so thrilled that our condo gave you all you expected and more. It is very difficult to capture the view and feelings of the closeness of the ocean with a camera. If you are on your honeymoon or a gat away our condo is perfect. I hope our future guests have a similar experience. Mahalo, Yvonne

We had a great time and loved the property. Beautiful location, ocean view, new construction & appliances, fantastic pool..whats not to love. The central location was ideal (between the South and North Shores) and maybe it was the ocean breeze, but we had absolutely no mosquitos our entire stay! I would highly recommend this property to anyone and definitely plan to return.
Owner response:It is always reassuring to hear from our guests. Thank you for taking the time to let future guests know that this property is all that one can expect, the location, pool, ocean view, beautiful breezes 24/7, all appliances are high end, everything that you need from beach chairs to snorkel and fins. Enjoy!!! I look forward to hearing from you........

We were lucky enough to have stayed here for 2 weeks! The condo is better than the pictures! Yvonne is so nice and great to work with about the arrangements and any questions you have. There are so many extra in the condo, like body boards, snorkeling gear, coolers. Yvonne's condo is away from the pool and directly faces the ocean (very quiet). It was so nice to sleep with the lanai doors open at night and fall asleep listening to the waves. this resort is centrally located on the island so can get to either the north or south side in less than 30-45 min. There is a Safeway directly across the street, a Longs drugs store and many other places to eat well within walking distance. But when you are in the condo or even on the beach you do not notice or hear the traffic from the stores. Another thing we enjoy is that during the 2 weeks we were there on the beach, which is approx. 150 yds. in length, the most people on the beach with us at the same time was only 5 or 6, and most of the time we had the beach all to ourselves! We were also blessed to have seen 4 monk seals come up on the beach to sleep for awhile ( if you see them please do not approach them or bother them, they are an endangered species) We are already planning on contacting Yvonne for our vacation next year! It could not of been any better! We found that Bubba's Burgers in Kapa'a or Bobby V's which is right next to the resort.
Owner response:There is nothing more satisfying than to know that your guests find everything as you told them. My wish is that everyone is completely satisfied and may be a little surprised by how wonderful our location is on the property. Thank you for the great review and we look forward to your return next year. Mahalo Yvonne

We do one or two trips to Hawaii each year and this is the nicest condo we've stayed at. Yvonne was very helpful and also had good suggestions as to what is available nearby. The pool is terrific - especially for children and the beach is also very nice. Only drawback is lack of poolside food and beverage service - you have to go to the restaurant and it is not open all day. I would definitely stay here again.
Owner response:Thank you for the positive feedback. I agree that there should be a better food and beverage service at the pool. I am going to mention your suggestion to the AOAO. We hope that you will choose our condo again in the future. Mahalo for your time and effort to write a review.

We stayed in Kauai for 5 days. This complex and condo is beautiful !! It is basically two master suites which worked out perfectly as we vacationed with another couple. Both rooms and the main living room overlook the ocean so nobody gets cheated the view. It was awesome to sleep with the doors open at night and listen to the waves. It has everything you need and the grocery store(s) are virtually right across the street. It is centrally located on the island so it is convenient to travel anywhere North or South. The traffic does get a bit congested for about a mile either way leaving the complex. The complex and condo is clean and very well maintained. The only issue we had was with the complex running out of pool towels. The beach in front of the complex is nice to sit and watch the waves or take a short walk on but you cant walk far due to rocks and it is not a good beach for swimming. We found a great little bar with appetizers and live music down the street called "Trees". - The best part of our vacation was the Kalalau Hike at the End of The Road !! Not a leisurely stroll...it is a long and rigorous hike where you will get wet and dirty but the waterfall at the end is INCREDIBLE !! The owner Yvonee was awesome and so easy to work with !! Highly recommended..
Owner response:I am always so pleased when our guests will write a review. Sometimes we learn things that need our attention. I will certainly check into the towel situation. This is the first time that I have heard that there were not enough towels for the guests. Thank you for the tip about "Trees" We will check it out on our next visit to Kapaa. Everyone loves the Kalalau Hike. Remember your shoes will get muddy. I am always so pleased when our guests enjoy the condo and especially appreciate the opened doors listening to the ocean all night, and everyone has an equally beautiful ocean view. Mahalo for your time to write the above review. Yvonne

My husband and I stayed 4 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. The condo was beautiful, extremely clean, and comfortable. The view is unobstructed overlooking the ocean. It was so peaceful falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean. Kitchen has everything we needed for our short stay. We even grilled our dinner at the grills near the pool area and that worked well. Very easy working with Yvonne also. We had no trouble finding shopping and good dining close by. Try Wahoo Seafood Grill down a block or two -- excellent fish! The Oasis Restaurant on property was very good too. The pool area was very nice and not overcrowded. We would definitely stay again!
Owner response:Wow, it is great to get a restaurant recommendation from a guest. I will definitely try the Wahoo Seafood Restaurant on our next visit. It is so comforting to know that our guests enjoy the spectacular views and sound of the ocean as much as we do. Thank you for choosing our condo for your vacation. I only hope that on your return you will be able to stay a little longer. Mahalo, Yvonne

My husband and I stayed in this amazing condo in April. We just stayed a weekend so of course we did not want to leave. The view was amazing!!!! Everything about the condo was very nice. We could not find anything we did not like. The owner was very easy to work with and returned my emails very timely. Everything about the description and photos were very accurate. And the condo was very very clean!!
Owner response:Thank you for confirming that our view is very special. There is nothing more wonderful than going to Hawaii and waking up on the ocean. Listening to the waves is so special. I have Sheila to thank for keeping our home in Kauai so clean and ready for all of our guests. Nothing is more rewarding than to know that all of our guests are receiving what they expect to receive. I do not want you to be disappointed. Mahalo and come again.

Our family has rented many homes, and this one was by far one of the top notch ones. The condo was just as described by the owner. It had everything one needed to have a comfortable stay. The furnishings were very upscale but comfortable. It is well maintained and very clean. A big perk is all of the beach stuff like chairs that are available to borrow. It was great to just get them out of the closet and hit the road! The owner was very helpful. She contacted us personally to discuss her condo and the island we were going to visit. We had to contact her a couple of times during the trip, through no fault of hers, and she was very accomodating to help us. This condo is in a great location on the east side of the island, so it was easy to get to either the south or the north end of the island. It is off one of the major roads on the island, but it was very peaceful because the condo is at the back of the complex overlooking the ocean. It was great becuase the complex was across the street from a grocery store which made it so easy to grab some things before settling in for the evening. My children loved the pool and were very sad that they did not have more time to spend there, so make sure that you leave yourself plenty of time to enjoy the amenities of the complex. We left this condo to go to Maui and stayed at the Waldorf there. My children loved the condo more than the "fancy hotel" and said that they wished we were back at the "other apartment" many times. High praise from them! You will not be disappointed with your stay.
Owner response:Thank you so much for such a positive review. I am happy to know that your children preferred Waipouli Beach Resort to the fancy Hotel on Mauai. I must admit even for myself I love the feeling of a home over a hotel room, even if it is a high end establishment. Comfort is key!!! We look forward to your family visiting again. Mahalo Yvonne

We just got back from watching the whales play in the ocean outside our windows. Our last day was our only rainy day but we were treated to a pair of whales jumping and diving in the waters just a short distance from the beach. Our family of 4 had a great time and the kids loved the pool...the water slide, the falling water and the winding river. Never overcrowded it was a perfect escape. The condo itself was more than a home away from home. Beautifully finished and spotless, it was a fabulous place sit and gather up energy to head back out to explore the island again. Groceries were across the road as was the Starbucks (a coffee light frapaccino each day). Centrally located, a drive to the north shore or the west side did not feel like a chore at all. The location will be even more perfect when the "Path by the Sea" makes its way to the doorstep of the resort. For now, this amazing bike trail is only a short drive or walk away. We had two favourite restaurants that we would pass along to those choosing this location. Oasis (located on the grounds) was fantastic...only serving appetizers, which are intended for sharing, the chef is an artist and every dish was incredible! The waiter even told us the stories of where all the local produce come from. Monico's Taqueira, down the road, was a huge surprise. It was not just a taco joint. There is a bit of a wait, but you see why when you get the food...the Ahi burrito was amazing. Try the Liko Kauai boat tour out of Waimea. The boat is stable, but also small so it is able to take you into all the nooks and crannies that the bigger and busier boat tours can't. We had an incredible trip inside sea caves and up against the north shore cliffs. Our kids (8 and 10) sat with the captain and steered the boat all the way home. Yvonne was easy to deal with and you feel very safe trusting your vacation to her capable hands. Thanks Yvonne!
Owner response:I am so happy that your stay at our condo in Kauai was all that you had expected. I love the fact that you had such a great experience watching the whales. That is a special treat. We love sitting on the balcony and just observing the beautiful creation before your eyes. It could be watching the waves break on the shore or the cloud formations or the magnificent creatures of the ocean. You definitely experience a calm and peace. We also enjoy the Oasis Restaurant. I am so glad that there is such a fun and good food experience within steps of our condo. Thanks for the tip about Monico's Taqueira. We will try this on our next trip over this year. We look forward to your return visit soon. Yvonne

"Amazing Ocean Front Luxury Condo, Quiet, Breathtaking View" is an absolutely accurate description of this most comfortable, clean, well maintained, condo. We had everything that we needed for a three weeks stay. The views from the lanais and from all of the inside rooms are awesome.....sunrise every morning is a special way to begin the day. We spotted whales frolicking in the seas several times, and often chose to have dinner 'at home' , as there isn't a restaurant in town that can beat the view. Location was great ...restaurant/bar on premises with additional restaurants close by. Best food on the island is served at Kauai Pasta (walking distance). We highly recommend this property to all of friends, family and to anyone reading this review.
Owner response:Thank you for reaffirming everything that I say to potential guests in our Kauai home. It is so reassuring to know that you appreciate our condo as much as my husband and I do. Every time we are fortunate enough to go to Kapaa for a visit we say the same thing, "This condo is so fabulous, you cannot beat the view, quiet and privacy." It is so nice to know that you are always guaranteed the best possible view. Whenever we visit another location we are never as content with the accommodations. Thank you for choosing to spend your vacation in our Kapaa home. Warmest Alohas, Yvonne

NO DISAPPOINTMENT HERE. The nicest unit we have ever stayed in. Our first visit to Kauai and this was an excellent location and property. The facilities were very well kept and the staff very kind and accommodating. There is a consierge at the front desk eager to assist with any sight seeing tours. Next time we will spend more time at the condo itself and less time doing all the tours.

This room is amazing, from the moment you walk in and see the view. We stayed at the Waipouli for a week (November 6-13th), during which we were married on the Shipwreck beach. Our families also stayed at the Waipouli Beach Resort and our room was by far the nicest one. It was comfortable for two couples (my Matron of Honor and her husband stayed with us), as the rooms are both deluxe master suites. The sounds of the ocean at night soothed us to sleep and the sunrises were breathtaking. Yvonne was so wonderful throughout the planning process. She answered all my questions or found someone who could. We would definitely stay here again, maybe on a subsequent anniversary. While on the island we enjoyed so many different activities. From a helicopter ride over the entire island (Jack Harter Helicopters), to snorkelling at Tunnels Beach. We also took a kayaking tour up the Wailua River with a tour guide. The island of Kauai is so fabulous and beautiful and the condo was so central to everything on the island. I would recommend this condo to anyone who was thinking of heading to Kauai. Yvonne will take extra special care of you, I am sure.
Owner response:I am always willing to help in any way that I can to make your stay on Kauai special. Many people are returning because they love it so much, but there are those that are planning a special occasion or visiting Kauai for the first time. I love to share our Hawaii home with you and want you to know that I am here for each and every one of you. Waipouli Beach Resort is wonderful and our condo is in a very special location. Quiet and private with spectacular views. If you like to cook our kitchen is very well equipped from Cuisinart to coffee grinder and in between. I know you will not be disappointed. I am always ready to speak to you on the phone and answer questions or try to arrange activities for you. I look forward to hearing from you. We are only ten minutes from the airport and located in the middle of the island with many good restaurants very close. I am so happy that our guests in November that were married on the Island had such a memorable experience and want to return. This is what I aim for with all our guests. Mahalo, Yvonne

We could not have enjoyed our accomodations more. The views alone had me sold from the minute I entered the condo. There was plenty of room (and tv's) for my husband and our two teenagers. The location was central and ideal to all the beauty Kauai has to offer. Thank you to Yvonne for being the "hostess with the mostess". Could I have stayed there forever?? ABSOLUTELY. Would I stay in G302 again?? MOST DEFINITELY. Two recommendations...Keoki's Paradise in Poipu for lunch or dinner. Great food and atmosphere. For those seeking adventure, ziplining at Princeville Ranch. The brave ones in our family did the zip and dip and they are still talking about it. Finally, no trip to Kauai would be complete without a boat tour of the Napali coast. By far, my favorite activity done on our trip.

We had high expectations after reading all the rave reviews about Yvonne and G302, but it was as nice as described! We celebrated our 40th anniversary with a week's stay and loved it. The central location of Waipouli was great---close to good restaurants and half-way between Poipu and Princeville. The unit was top-notch and the grounds of the resort were beautiful. We also enjoyed the Oasis restaurant and bar on site. Yvonne was great to work with!
Owner response: It is my goal to help make every ones dream vacation come true. When Mickey and I go to Hawaii we always want to be on the Ocean Front. It makes me happy to share our beautiful condo with those of you that want this same experience. We are very proud of our condo and are confident that if you choose to stay in G 302 you will not be disappointed. The views, quiet, privacy and location are perfect. I try my best to help with any information that you might need regarding the Island. Please do not hesitate to call and ask as many questions as you have. We welcome all of our future guests to the vacation of their lives.

No matter where you are in the condo, you can always look out and see the beautiful aqua blue ocean breakers, and the nearly 180 degree unobstructed view. You can even observe the changing moods of the ocean while you take a leisurely shower from the king suite bathroom. On our first visit to Kauai, the Waipoli complex was just being constructed, and we were awed then by the quality and beauty of the units. Knowing the layout of the buildings, and walking the beach previously, led us to reserve G302 nearly a year in advance. It is the best location for view, privacy, convenience to parking, pool area, BBQ, and the beach all wrapped up in one. Thanks again for making it available.

This was our 3rd time staying at the Waipouli Beach Resort. All our units have been ocean front or ocean view...but this one was the best. The value is unmatchable! Believe me...I do a lot of research and this one met all my expectations. The icing on the cake is the fact that the owners are so wonderful too!!
Owner response:Thank you for sharing your experience of staying in our Condo at Waipouli, G 302. We have always felt that the G building is the best and I am glad that you agree. The location of our condo has spectacular views, quite and private and only steps to the pool, barbecue and beach. We look forward to your return visit.

Our group consisted of two couples in late 30's celebrating 10 year anniversaries and this place was perfect. The condo itself is beautiful...two master suites each with sliding glass doors that look out on the ocean. We kept them open a bit a night to let in the breeze and sound of the ocean. The kitchen is also especially nice...all brand new stainless steel appliances. The resort offers a perfect combination of beach/pool/jacuzzis/waterslides and the poolside bar/restaurant was an ideal place to grab lunch (especially corn fritters and fish tacos). We did plenty of exploring and activities across the island...but the resort was nice enough that we easily could have hung out there all week. It was also nice to be so close to the amazing bike path that hugs the coast and extends for miles to the north...and in general it was nice to be located in the middle of the island which made it easy to go north or south for day trips. It was also extremely convenient to have Safeway right across the street...as we were back and forth many times. I was actually a little concerned when I first heard there was a strip mall directly across the street, wondering if the resort would be sufficiently isolated from the road, mall, etc...but this was not an issue at all and was only a positive (super convenient). When you are sitting by the pool or ocean you are completely unaware the road is even there. Though we were basking in our kid-free vacation...we all agreed that our kids would have been in heaven at this resort. Overall...this was a perfect place to stay, we had a great vacation, and not only would we return to this resort...but we would return to this exact unit because it is clearly one of the best locations (if not the best) within this property. Yyonne was a pleasure to work with and the condo/resort were all just as good or better than advertised. We hope to be back...

The condo was wonderful - "as advertised". It is very nice inside, in perfect condition, and it has great views. We loved the location in Kapa'a and near the beach, and the resort's pool is second to none. Yvonne was a pleasure to work with and very helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for our family!

Waipouli Beach Resort and Spa is an excellent destination. We stayed for a week in mid-May. The location in Kapaa makes it perfect for visiting the North or South of the island based on the weather for the day. We thought the awesome “pool” was just for kids, but we enjoyed it ourselves. There’s a waterfall to hide under and 3 hot tubs with pebble bottoms (energy conservation is big on Kauai… if the jets aren’t running then turn the dial!). Everything is super clean, well-maintained, beautiful, and well-decorated. Much of the property is rented by owner so don’t expect much personal service like you would in a hotel. But you won’t need anything… everything nearby is top notch. Great restaurants on the island are close. (“The Eastside” rocks!). There is also a good, on-site, casual, but pricey restaurant on the water (there is no pool-side service like there used to be). Lydgate Beach is a very short drive away (the property’s beach is also very pretty and nice for dripping your toes, but not the greatest swimming beach). The best grocery store on the island is right across the street. There is so much within walking distance. These are the best condos we have ever stayed in and we should have stayed three times as long. The G building is probably the most preferred… quiet, best ocean views, easy parking. G302 was superb (2-bedroom, 3-bath!). Beautiful, tasteful, plenty of room, crazy clean, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, beautiful wood and stone, and the best owner ever (Yvonne Gilbert is VERY friendly and helpful). We are super-picky and we would definitely stay here again (our highest recommendation).
Owner response:Thank you Tim for your kind words regarding Waipouli Beach Resort and our condo G 302 particularly. You are always welcome back. I am sorry that the restaurant was not serving food pool side. When we were there in May we were told that they were going to be starting a lunch menu. I will check into that. Yvonne

My wife and two chldren, 8 and 10, stayed 13 nights in G302 from January 24th to February 6th and cannot say enough good things. I've travelled the world and must say the Waipouli Resort is five star. But what made our stay more special was staying in G302. Yvonne was easy to deal with and she cared that our holiday was perfect. Do not hesitate to contact her, you won't be dissapointed in booking this unit at the Waipouli.Sincerely, Dan Coombs
Owner response:Thank you. My goal is for our guests to have a memorable vacation.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying 13 nights in G302 in late January 2010. Our stay was made more enjoyable by the care that Yvonne Gilbert gave in making sure our holiday was everything we expected. Although there are many units for rent at the Waipouli you will not find another owner (more often you would have to deal with a rental agency or go through Outrigger) who you can talk to directly and have open dialogue either by phone or e-mail. The Waipouli is a spectacular resort but is made even more special by enjoying your holiday in G302.
Owner response:Thank you Dan for taking the time to leave a review. I am so happy that your entire family had such a memorable vacation at Waipouli. I know how wonderful it is to be right on the ocean front. The sound of the ocean puts you to sleep so quickly. Many guests have shared having breakfast on the deck and watching the whales. Of course this is a seasonal experience. I love watching the kit surfers in the late afternoon when the wind comes up. The entire experience is breathtaking. We welcome all who are reading this to treat yourself to a memorable experience, you do not have to worry about the view or which room the resort will put you in, you are guaranteed ocean front, quiet and peaceful. Warmest Alohas, Yvonne - owner

My husband and I stayed along with our 3 children in g302 November of 2009. Yvonne was so helpful answering our questions and was available by phone and email. The unit itself is gorgeous! Extremely high end, clean and well stocked. What I particularly liked about this unit was the view. You have a direct ocean view and was much more private than other units as it did not overlook the pool area. Since the pool is a short walk, you have the best of both worlds. Safeway was right across the street as were several restaurants. Most nights we ate fresh fish on the balcony because of the view. Had a wonderful meal at the Eastside in Kapaa. All in all this unit had something for us all. Amazing pool for the kids, spectacular view for me and gourmet kitchen for my husband. We would definitely stay here again!
Owner response:Thank you Theresa for your great review of our unit. I am so glad that you enjoyed the privacy, quiet and breath taking views as much as my husband and I do. You are welcome back any time. All of you prospective renters, please know that it is very important to me that you thoroughly enjoy your vacation. I am here to help you in any way that I can. We have visited the Island for many many years so we are very familiar with things. If you have any golf questions we can tell you about all the golf courses. I have a niece that lives on Island, so if I cannot answer the question, I can get you an answer quickly. I look forward to hearing from you. We try to keep our prices competitive, but ocean front is sometimes a little more.
