Harpoon Lookout’s kitchen is fully equipped for preparing and serving your choice of gourmet dishes in the Solarium-Styled Dining Room, complete with home theater and surround-sound.

I love to remodel homes and enjoy quite peaceful surroundings among Redwood trees.
Why the Owner Chose Sea Ranch
The Sea Ranch is a special place away from city living but close to my home in Marin county.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Walking distance to Bluff, The Sea Ranch Lodge, swimming pool, tennis and sauna. Hiking the Sea Ranch Bluff trails is a tireless daily ritual. When back to Harpoon Lookout, peace, quite, playing the fabulous grand piano and reading are all my favorite things to do.

Relaxing, peaceful home

Apologies for the late review! My husband and I stayed here 4 nights July 2 - July 6th. What a relaxing, comfortable place! This house is east of Hwy. 1. A short drive will take you down to a private parking area with access to two lovely coastal trails and beaches. There is also a community pool and sauna, which we didn't take advantage of as we were very content to soak in our own private hot tub at the house! There is plenty space from the neighbors' homes to Harpoon Lookout, and with the position of the trees, we felt complete privacy, peace and quiet! The most sounds we heard came from the birds and the bees (and the dull roar of the ocean in the distance.) Heaven! The deck is wonderful - we ate our breakfast out there each morning and would kick back on the deck chairs to read and snooze. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as cookware, glassware, utensils, etc. and there were some basic spices, oil and condiments provided. I suggest you buy your groceries before arriving to Sea Ranch, as the closest grocery stores in Gualala are a little pricey, although we did end up "going into town" and buying some great seafood for the grill. The gas grill was new and clean. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linens provided. Beautiful sun room with dining table and small entertainment area. Loved the hot tub which looked onto the wooded property behind the house. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the fireplace due to wildfire restrictions during the summer. Charles was very friendly, responsive, and provided us great information about the local area, activities, thorough instructions on getting settled in the house, and the house rules. There are a number of things you need to do before checking out (cleaning/putting away the dishes, laundering used sheets and towels, removing your garbage, etc.), so be sure to allow yourself enough time. We would love to return again - can't say enough about this beautiful home and peaceful area.
