Bean Winter catalog as well as the location for several other "winter" catalogs and magazines. The home has one outdoor fireplace and two indoor fireplaces. All three fireplaces are made of Montana Moss stone and are very large. With mountain views South, North, East and West, as well as lake-views South, you will not want to ever leave! This home also has a private pond next to the back patio.
Many of the furnishings are Ralph Lauren. The dining room table is a custom-made 14' table easily seating fourteen.

Why the Owner Chose Ketchum
We looked all over for the perfect place to own a home which could be our retreat from the hot Summers in Florida as well as offer us a place to spend a few "snowy" weeks in the Winter so that we could enjoy the Winter sports. We looked in Vail (too commercial), Aspen (too showy) as well as several towns in North Carolina. At the recommendation of a friend, we finally visited Sun Valley. From the second we stepped off the airplane, we knew what a very special place Sun Valley was. I guess you could say it was love at first sight!
The Unique Benefits of this House
We chose to buy mid-valley (half way between Ketchum and Hailey) for many reasons. Both Ketchum and Hailey offer MANY fine and casual dining experiences. Those who live in Ketchum or north of Ketchum have to drive 12 to 20 miles to get to Hailey. Hailey also offers a movie theater with stadium-style seating, a playhouse, two far superior grocery stores than Ketchum has to offer, and a great hardware store. In addition, you are closer to the airport. We get the best of both worlds by being about 6 to 7 minutes from all both Ketchum and Hailey have to offer!!! In addition, we are about 500 yards from the bike path which goes about 20 miles north as well as south. In the winter, it is used for cross-country skiing. In the summer, a bike path. Also, the Big Wood River runs parallel to the bike path. Famous for the trout fishing the Big Wood River offers, it is not only beautiful but a sportsman paradise.
