The farm is located on one of the soft hills of olive and pure secular woods, near medieval and charming villages such as Cibottola, St. Apollinare, Spina, Monte Vibiano.
The structure is composed of a big-stone farmhouse, on the road from Mercatello to Cibottola, with a spacious-surrounding space and a splendid view of Perugia and Assise. Within a radius of a few Kilometers, the farm may become the logistical base to reach the 20% of the world-artistic patrimony: Perugia (14 km), Assisi and Todi (40 km), Gubbio (60 km), Rome (140 km), Florence (140 km), Siena (90 km): a fascinating and enviable tour of art and culture.
At only 20 minutes run away, there is the Trasimeno lake with its isles and beaches that give the possibility to practice all aquatic sports. The big-stone farmhouse, completely restructured in 1977, rises in a panoramic position at 400 mt of height in the middle of surrounded olive-grove; a swimming-pool and a wide wooden arcade complete the common areas. Skillful men have executed the the restructure work to preserve the ancient aspect of the stone, while the interior has been restored in a refined way so that guests can feel at home.

The Unique Benefits at this FarmhouseFlorence and Rome are just 1.5 hour with car/train from us, and the main spots in Umbria such as Assisi, Bevagna, Spello, Montefalco, Foligno, Spoleto, Lago Trasimeno, Citta di Castello, Terni, Orvieto are a short drive from the property.
A 15,10 km long trekking road perfect for walks, trekking, mountain biking, etc. Surrounded by fields (sunflowers in June/July) and following the Nestore valley, where you can easily get in-to a stork
An ancient castle in ruins settled on the top of Cibottola hill, where every summer, Saturday and Sunday evenings, local families organize and cook for friends and guests. Menu is very simple.

Hello there! That is me-Tanja and my partner Francesco. We love to travel, and we enjoy making other holidays memorable; that is mainly why we love our job: it gives us a great opportunity to get the chance to introduce Umbria to guests throughout food, wine and staying at our lovely country house. After six years of working experience in tourism, we thought it was time to start with a new project - a lovely country house in a charming Umbrian countryside with organized dinners for our guests. We organize simple dinners, have a taste of real Umbrian cuisine, home made pasta by our local ladies, pizza and lasagna from the wood stove, red wine from the local winery, olive oil from our olive trees (750) ... just using quality products exclusively from the area. Upon request, we organize as well courses in ceramics, olive oil tasting, visit to the local wine farms, tours to the cities, etc..

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a fantastic stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean (the entire property is impeccable) and the surroundings are peaceful and stunningly beautiful. We explored different towns every day and took the train to Firenze one day (train station is 40 minute drive and the train ride is1-2 hours). Highly recommended.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, pet owners, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed at this property for 8 days. The location of the farmhouse was superb, with views from every window in the apartment. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make a simple breakfast to a four-course dinner. The bathroom was clean and roomy, with heated towel bar. The living room and master bedroom had wood burning fireplaces, which came in handy on those cool fall nights. Food shopping was easy within ten to twenty minutes away. And lastly, the managers, Tanja and Francesco, were incredible host. They helped us to love this area of Umbria, with cultural info for festivals and restaurants, nearby hill towns, and the local floral and fauna. Will I return, YES....would I recommend to family and friends, YES.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

My husband and I and our 4 children are from Canada, and we stayed at this delightful property this summer for one week. Immediately Tanja was so welcoming, and after showing us our apartment, gave us maps and local information to help us enjoy our stay. The pool was wonderful during the hot Italian summer days, and our children especially loved it. Our little daughter broke her arm while we were on an excursion elsewhere, and they were very kind in their concern for her and for us. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would happily recommend this home to others. Thank you Tanja and Francesco!
