Built in 1780 (about the time that Monticello was being built), Garth House is a true Virginia country farmhouse with easy access to UVa and the downtown area at only 4-5 miles. Garth Road is one of our most scenic drives heading west from Charlottesville.
Enjoy the antiques throughout the house as have been passed down to the family. Discover some history about the area during your stay. And, most of all enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountain views and the pleasure of rocking on the front porch with its cool breezes. Note the amenities are not from the 1700's including dish satellite TV!
