Our newly remodeled/decorated beach cottage is on an acre of land that is less than a mile walk to the beach. Our house is there for you to relax and unwind. Our yard has many tropical trees and fruit trees for you to enjoy fresh orange juice or grapefruits.
The Front House is a 3 bedroom (1 w/Queen w/ TV 1 w/Double and 1 separated bedroom from house by 10 feet w/ two twins) with 2 full baths. The Living room has a pull out couch, cable TV, and stereo. It has a dining area and Kitchen that has a dishwasher, Microwave, coffee maker and anything else you need to cook. The very large screen patio has a sitting area with TV and dining area overlooking the newly installed outdoor patio. The outdoor shower is sure to please and the wash room off the kitchen has a washer and dryer. The house comes with quality linens and all your beach needs.
Less than a mile to Nokomis beach, located on Casey Key, is a rare find; beautiful and quiet, yet has showers and bath house close to beach. This beach is great for walking, shelling on the 9 mile long white sand beach or enjoying the "bongos every Wednesday and Saturday evening at sunset. There are 2 waterfront seafood dining and drinks near the quaint draw bridge that overlooks the Intercoastal. Convenient to groceries, pharmacy, shops, and post office.
The quant town of Venice on Venice Island is just 4 miles (5 minutes) south of us, with lots of restaurants and shopping. Siesta Key, in Sarasota, is a 20 minute drive and we are just a hour drive from Tampa airport. Want to take a day trip to Disney World in Orlando? It is just a 2 hour drive.

Our family stayed at this cottage the week before Christmas 2010. It is an older cottage but has all of the basics. It has a HUGE yard that my toddlers loved. There is also a huge screened in lanai. There are orange and grapefruit trees in the yard that had plenty of fruit for our breakfasts and snacks. It is very close to grocery/drug stores and the beach. We would stay here again.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
