This is totally renovated, sunny and bright house located in the heart of the old city of Antibes. It is extremely unusual in old Antibes to find a house that has wonderful light throughout and is not narrow with one room on each floor. On the ground floor of this house, there is a big living room with a 42" television, a large, fully-equipped cook's kitchen with separate dining area, and a full bathroom with a stall shower and a washer/dryer. One flight up, there is a bedroom with a double bed and an additional twin bed and a full bathroom. A door off this room leads to a charming terrace. On the other side of the terrace, there is another bedroom with a full-size bed and a full bathroom. There is also an additional loft area with 2 twin-beds pushed together. Skylights provide beautiful light in the upstairs portion of the house. There is central A/C throughout. It is a very special and unusual find in old Antibes.

I just returned from Europe with 2 of my best friends. We were very fortunate to find this fabulous rental. It is ideally located in the heart of the Old City. From this location you can walk anywhere and we did! The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Jennifer, the manager was an absolute delight and most helpful. We took the bus and taxis and also rented a car for the last 3 days. Very easy to get around. We all agreed we would definitely rent this apartment again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Antibes I give this one 5 stars!!!!Did you find this review helpful? My partner and I just returned from 10 days in Antibes and were so pleased with the rental house. The house is very large, modern, bright and in an excellent location; close to shops, restaurants and only a short walk to the sandy beach. My brother joined us for part of our visit to Antibes and the room off the terrace was such a bonus allowing him privacy for sleeping and showering. This is the second property (other is St. Tropez) we have rented from Shelly and found her to be very professional and a real pleasure to work with. The property manager in Antibes is also lovely and was so helpful upon our arrival ensuring we settled in comfortably and enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

Tons of space, 3 full bathrooms,close to restaurants,le marche,museums,shopping.Very nice place to spend 2 weeks.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

About the owner: My name is Shelly Shipper and I have lived in New York City all my life. I am a real estate broker with Sotheby's International Realty specializing in residential properties. The fall of 2010 is the first time I am renting my house in Antibes. I have had such good experiences renting my apartments in Paris and in St. Tropez that I have decided to open up this wonderful house for rent. Since this is a new listing, there are no reviews. Why the Owner Chose Antibes:
My father bought this house in Antibes in 1972. Originally it was a small house but through the years, we managed to expand by buying a garage next door and turning it into a beautiful living room and full bathroom, then creating a terrace on top of the garage, and even managing to buy an additional bedroom and bathroom from an adjacent building. It turned out to be the best investment in terms of providing me and my family with 40 years of wonderful summers and memories.

Antibes is a very special town. It is located between Nice and Cannes and is a short, 30 minute drive to Nice International Airport. The town is both lively and serene, modern and charming, filled with outdoor cafes, restaurants, shops, and one of the best outdoor daily food market that you will ever see. You can walk to the beaches and walk to the train station and bus station. Day trips are easily made to Monaco, Eze, Villefranche, Nice, St. Paul de Vence, Mougins, Cannes, St. Tropez, etc.
