A spectacular domed ceiling and a cozy living room will full your senses. A fully equipped open kitchen and a large dining room to enjoy family meals. Two bedrooms plus a den and 2 full baths with Mexican style showers comfortably accommodate up to ten people.
Relax reading a book under the gazebo, or nap in a hammock while the kids roam free around the big yard climbing and swinging to their hearts content in the playground. If you like to stay indoors choose one of the board games to challenge the family or bring your DVDs to watch your favorite movies.
A 10 min drive will take you to charming Tepoztlán, one of Mexico’s pueblos mágicos, a sanctuary since pre-colonial times. Wander around its colonial past visiting its convent and museum, bargain for fine arts and crafts in its vibrant market. If you are more adventurous climb up the mystical Cerro del Tepozteco to step your foot on the pyramid at the top of the mountain. And if the hike makes you tired, recover taking a temazcal bath, an ancient steam bath with herbs to clean your lungs.

Year Purchased: 2004
We are a family of 5 and we spend every holiday we can in Tepoztlan. We love to buy arts and crafts from the town market and quaint stores to decorate our house. When we are there my husband and I read a lot while the children romp around the garden. I am a nutritionist and work from home while home schooling my 3 children. My husband works for an NGO trying to alleviate poverty in Central America thru education and support of entrepreneurs.
Why the Owner Chose Tepoztlan
Being natives from Mexico City, often our weekends were spent in Cuernavaca or Tepoztlan. When we started a family we bought the land and built our dream weekend home. We then moved abroad but still spend a good part of summer and Xmas holidays in Tepoztlan.
