Why the Owner Chose Dauphin Island
We have three vacation homes on Dauphin Island. This one has quickly become the favorite. Shallow water is great for kayaks and all other forms of water sports. The Gulf is across the street and the Bay is at your back door. The best of both worlds. I totally remodeled the house - new metal roof - new windows - new siding - new carpeting - new light fixtures - new doors - new decks - new stairs - new boardwalks - new appliances, etc.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Beach is across street. Bay is a few hundred feet down with beautiful sandy beaches and very peaceful. We enjoy kayaking, tubing, boating, fishing, crabbing, etc. Under the house is concrete parking and we saved two areas for playing in the sand (with overhead cover) and plenty of room for other activities.

I am married with two daughters. We all love the Island. My oldest daughter is a senior at Samford in Birmingham and my youngest in a Junior at UMS-Wright in Mobile. My wife just retired from the Mobile County School System.
