The perfect location for both Summer and Winter vacations in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Centrally located in the heart of Colorado Ski country and some of the best Summer Mountain adventures.
Our home has a huge living room with beautiful vaulted ceilings and a cozy fireplace. The newly remodeled kitchen has all the amenities making a stay at home dinner enjoyable. The master suite with a king bed is privately located on the 2nd floor, two additional bedrooms with queen beds are located on the first floor. A pull out sofa is in the living room. Situated on Buffalo Mountain among spruce and Aspens with views of Lake Dillon and surrounding mountains. The Summit Stage, a free bus service is just a short walk from the house and provides service to the towns of Dillon, Frisco, Keystone, Breckenridge, and of course the ski resorts.
Winter Activities: Snowshoe and Cross country ski trails are right out the door!
Our home is within a short drive or free bus service to Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain resorts. Vail and Beaver Creek is an easy 30 minute drive.
Summer Activities: Over 5 hiking trails within walking distance of the home, those with extra energy can climb Buffalo Mountain! Biking trails link Silverthorne to the towns of Dillon, Frisco, Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper and Vail. Excellent fishing on the Blue River is only 5 minutes away. Rent a boat or kayak and spend time on the beautiful Lake Dillon Reservoir. Try downhill mountain biking; ride the lift up and bike down…easy! Come home after all these activities and relax on our large wrap around deck. Watch for wildlife, you may see a fox or moose!
If all the mountain activities aren’t enough, the Silverthorne Recreation Center offers a work out center, pools, and hot tubs.
Shopping and Restaurants – Enjoy great shopping at the Silverthorne Outlet mall (over 50 Shops), located at the bottom of the mountain or enjoy dinner at a wide variety of restaurants in the area.
