The house has original hardwood floors, a cathedral ceiling, fireplace, upgraded kitchen, and French doors in both bedrooms that overlook a Spanish courtyard with fountain. It has a comfortable, Provencal feel and is located near Marina del Rey and 5 minutes from the freeway, allowing complete access to the entire Los Angeles region and coastline as well as a cozy retreat. There is a rooftop deck with a 180 degree view of the Santa Monica Bay from Malibu to Palos Verdes and Catalina Island. A bike path for the coastline is one block away.
The home is conveniently near Los Angeles International Airport.. There is a courtyard with fountain and guesthouse in the back of the property with a separate entrance. There is great shopping nearby in Manhattan Beach, Culver City and Santa Monica as well as cinema, restaurants and local theatre.

The geographical beauty of this home near the beach combined with easy freeway and beach city access makes it extremely appealing for a place to stay to explore the Los Angeles area and to retreat back into a peaceful and beautiful home with a view of the Pacific ocean. It's possible to jump in the car and be anywhere in L.A. or to grab a bike and ride the coast, with a bike path one block away.
