Onsite at the Smoky Mountain Country Club, the Sequoyah National Golf Club is also just a few minutes away. Asheville is a less than an hour away, and Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in TN are just a quick drive through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park starting at the Cherokee entrance. White Water rafting is also close by on the Nantahala River (about twenty minutes away) and the Tuckaseegee River (about fifteen minutes away). There is shopping in the nearby towns of Bryson City, Sylva, Cherokee, and Dillsboro, while Waynesville, Franklin, and Asheville are all just a short trip.
