I am a retired professional enjoying the active lifestyle in Boulder county.. I am 15 minutes from Pearl Street in downtown Boulder and frequently ride my bicycle into town (7 miles.) Interests include hiking, biking, birding, and classical music. Happy to share information with you while you're staying here.
Why the Owner Chose Boulder
This location offers the safety and quiet of Lafayette, and is still only 15 minutes from Boulder. I am 35 minutes from Downtown Denver, and 1 hour from Rocky Mountain National Park. It's a great location!
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
The property is adjacent to open space and the Indian Peaks Golf Course, there are many walking and biking opportunities right from the door. Wake up to birds and crickets in the spring and summer. Grocery stores and restaurants are a 5 minute drive away. A bus passes nearby to downtown Boulder every 30 minutes. The drive to Boulder down Baseline Road has a rural feel and a beautiful view of the Flatiron Mountains and Indian Peaks.

Quiet neighborhood and beautiful home

My husband and I spent a week at Kay's home. Very nice, quiet neighborhood- great location with easy access to Baseline Road, Boulder and the freeways. Enjoyed using her basket of maps and brochures for siteseeing ideas. Cooked some of our meals, the kitchen had all of the equipment that we needed. Also used the washer/dryer a couple of times. The house is very comfortable, nicely decorated, very clean and well maintained. When we were not siteseeing we enjoyed relaxing in the home. Recommend visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. And our football team won, the main reason for the trip was to watch the University of Oregon football team play the University of Colorado.Go Ducks!

This was our first trip to Colorado. My husband and I wanted to visit our youngest daughter and her husband, who currently reside in Boulder. According to the VRBO ad, we were to rent a one bedroom and one bath apartment, but instead we were welcomed to a luxurious one bedroom, one bath garden home nestled in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. It truly was a very pleasant surprise. This wonderful place had high ceilings all throughout, a roomy bedroom with a walk in closet, and a large bathroom that included a double sink vanity/shower/separate tub/enclosed toilet facility/sky light for natural lighting. It had a living room with a baby grand piano, and an adjoining den with an entertainment center that included a wide screen HDTV. The kitchen was spacious, with a breakfast nook, and was equipped with high-end appliances. The deck spanned the back side of the house, from the master bedroom to the kitchen, and had an awesome view of the golf course. Kay, the owner, welcomed us to her home and walked us through the whole rental procedure. She made sure we understood that the whole main level the house plus the garage was for us to enjoy during our visit to Colorado. And enjoy we did, our stay in this beautiful home away from home.

I second all what has been said and only add that having myself a holiday rental place in Spain I know what it takes to perfectionists like Kay or myself to be happy with the quality of service service we strive to provide. In my case I was here for a working retreat with a colleague in Boulder. It was really perfect for that including the quality of retreat space given by the short distance to Boulder town center. Thanks again Kay and I hope to be back soon!

This is really a wonderful place. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Great deck over looking golf corse. Kay was so gracious. Let us use the garage and even the gas BBQ for a great steak dinner! This place is equipped with all you need to feel at home.The pictures don't do this home justice. Perfect for a couple. Lot's of good eateries and close to most everything one could want.We definitely recommend staying here. What a great value.

Kay is a very helpful and sweet host. The house is impeccably decorated and has great amenities like an infrared grill, nice-sized deck and even a baby grand piano! It's right off the local golf course, so there's a great view. It is way better than staying in a hotel, and it is also more economical! I suggest trying some of the local eateries like Magnolia Restaurant and Efrain's. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be staying here again!

This studio had everything that I needed. It is very clean and well thought out. Kay was very helpful in getting me oriented. It is very quiet and pretty here. I even saw a small rabbit in the grass outside the studio.
