Pine Mountain Club (PMC) is a magical place nestled in Los Padres Nat'l Forest. Just 1-1/2 hrs from either Los Angeles airport or Ventura, and 1 hr from Bakersfield, we're known as the nearby-faraway place because you'll think you're either in the Mammoth mountains or a small Swiss village. Our cabin in PMC is the perfect place to reconnect to Mother Nature. Dos Vistas cabin has hosted honeymooners, women's retreats, the guys getting together for a man-cation, and of course families seeking that precious bonding time. Whatever your reason for coming, we hope your time at Dos Vistas is a soothing retreat from the hurried world!
The cabin easily sleeps 5-7 with a queen bed in the enormous master bedroom and enough space in the master bedroom for two more twin beds, available in the master closet. Bedroom 2 has a double, and even more sleeping space is available on the huge leather sectional sofa in the living room. The cabin has two decks with breathtaking views. Hi-speed wireless internet throughout so bring your laptop if you must stay connected! A well equipped kitchen welcomes you with Espresso/Coffeemaker, microwave, waffle maker & toaster oven. Warm up by the wood burning fireplace & grill the steaks on the gas BBQ. Local phone provided. For family enjoyment you’ll find cable TV in living room and master suite, DVD player, stereo, iPod player, an old-school Nintendo set with 14 games, a well stocked library, poker chips/cards, board games & puzzles, and even a set of clubs with rolling caddy for the golfer. Paper products are provided as well as complimentary coffee, tea and cocoa.
Just a few of the many things to do--Relax on either of the two decks, feed the blue jays, watching an amazing sunset, look for shooting stars in the night sky, hike to beautiful Rainbow Falls at the end of Woodland Dr, read a book by the fire, enjoy a movie, bird watch, go horseback riding, spend the day playing golf at our 9-hole PGA executive golf course, stroll the quaint Village Center which boasts gift shops/restaurants/grocery store/bakery/video store/ice cream shop, fishing (catch/release) at Fern Lake, take a picnic lunch to Mt. Pinos or Mt. Abel, take the kids to the nearby park, or visit the PMC club house (guest passes provided) which features a restaurant, pool & game room and is another fun destination for the family, or hike the many trails of Los Padres National Forest! Wonderful destinations for day trips--wine tasting along the California central coastal cities of Santa Barbara to Paso Robles, the Southern and Central coast beaches. You'll find many tourist booklets and magazines for your use at the cabin.

As the owner of Everyday Spirituality, I am a Reiki Master Practitioner, Laughter Yoga Instructor, & Ordained Minister. We bring the perfect balance to one another and our resort mountain home. Though Dos Vistas cabin has a western deco theme, the feeling is very Zen!
Why the Owner Chose Pine Mountain Club
As avid wine lovers, it was May '04 that we attended the most wonderful wine festival in the village at Pine Mtn Club (PMC). We immediately fell in love with the area and it's natural beauty! It truly is a magical place to reconnect with nature--from the waterfall at the end of Woodland to the hiking and biking trails around Mount Pinos--Pine Mountain Club is a soothing retreat from the hurried world. As we enjoyed the wine festival, we met the folks of the community and decided that very day that we would own a home in PMC. By Labor Day we were the new owners of Dos Vistas cabin. Named for its amazing "Two Views", Dos Vistas has become our lovely weekend retreat where we slow down, enjoy the wildlife and beautiful nature and allow our spirits to refresh. Now we're sharing it with you!
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Dos Vistas faces towards the major peaks of the Pine Mountain area which makes for breathtaking views from both decks. We love to put out peanuts on the deck railing and watch the blue jays turn into piglets. The perfect ending to your day will be sitting out on the upper deck, wrapped in your blanket, watching for shooting stars. In winter, there's nothing like waking up after a fresh snow to a blanketed white wonderland. The community of Pine Mountain Club holds wonderful annual events such as the Lilac Festival, Wine in the Pines, July 4th Celebration, Summer Concert on the Greens Series, Car Show, Shakespeare Festival, Oktoberfest, & Halloween Trunk or Treat.
