Stayed this past weekend for a 5k in the city. This property was fantastic and very comfortable. The neighbourhood is also really nice and most of our necessities were all within walking distance. Thanks for having us!

Wonderfully equipped house. Kitchen has the necessary items ( including spices!) for any level of cook. Bed very comfortable and really nice bathroom. We've rented another of Joe's properties. We will continue renting from him as he really does the job RIGHT!

We loved this home and recommend it without reservation (pun intended). It embodied Seattle's History as a Victorian Home, yet it's updated to include a great kitchen and bath, washer/dryer and all the e-accessibility, as well. It also allowed us to feel "immersed" in the diverse Capitol Hill community! I'm 54-yrs-old and my husband and I were with our son and dtr-in-law, who insisted we walk downtown "for the experience". We made it there ~ and back ~ twice! Can't do this in Dallas. Stay here. Walk everywhere you can. Enjoy the culture and the people of this great city.

My friends and I spent a weekend in Seattle and we really enjoyed our stay here. Capitol Hill is a beautiful neighborhood with a lively night life. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go: restaurants, grocery stores, Seattle Art Museum, Pike's Place, Volunteer Park and on and on. The apartment was very comfortable and the owner had a great binder filled with useful information for guests. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time in Seattle on Capitol Hill in this contemporary rental. The unit looks even better in person--the pictures don't do it justice! The rental had wonderful amenities and was closeby to everything (Pike Place, UW, Pioneer Square, etc). In addition, Capitol Hill boasts wonderful restaurants if you don't want to venture too far away. Joe was so helpful and accomodating and there wasn't a question he couldn't answer!!! I would recommend this rental to anyone who wants a modern and cozy stay in Seattle!

Stayed here while helping my son move to Seattle. The apartment is just wonderful - beautifully remodeled with care and detail. Kitchen has everything you could need to eat in. Bathroom is well done and beautiful. Bed is super comfortable!! Nice TV and living room set up. Washer and dryer is convenient! Parking off street is secure and a bonus. Joe even offered to let my son park his trailer here while in the middle of the move. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops nearby and it is a great neighborhood to walk around safely. I would recommend to anyone - this place is lovely and the owner is very nice to deal with!

Our expectations were exceeded! We spent a great week here, with lots of room and natural light. Everything was exactly as the photos represented. The kitchen was very well equipped and the location was perfect for our plans. This is a wonderfully maintained property in a vibrant neighborhood.

My husband and I stayed here for a week during our vacation in September. It is a lovely, spacious apartment with all the necessities – including a very comfortable king size bed. There are also two bikes with helmets and locks in the storage unit out back, though we didn’t have time to use them. Having parking in the back of the house was priceless. The house is in a convenient location to shopping and eateries in the Capitol Hill neighborhood too. We never had far to walk for our morning coffee! I stayed in both units in the house, a week each for business and vacation, and highly recommend this property!

We stayed at the property for almost a week (over the 4th of July holiday) and couldn't have asked for a better experience! The home was beautifully maintained (perfectly depicted in the photos) and was in a great location. The neighborhood has a very cozy feel while still being less than two miles from the heart of downtown Seattle. Joe was very prompt in all communications leading up to the trip and made it very easy to plan and organize. We already have dreams of returning again and again!

Our stay in Capitol Hill was very enjoyable. The pictures of the condo are as you will find it. Very comfortable, clean, modern and within walking distance to bus stops, grocery stores, restaurants, Seattle University and many Seattle attractions (Space Needle ~ 30 minutes). Prefer to take the bus ~ that is possible too ~ just a quick walk down John St. (Olive Way) and you can hop on a bus to downtown! You will not be disappointed ~

The house was outstanding and in a good location. It was better than the pictures. Very well done and clean. Great job Joe on renovations. Also it was very good to have parking in back of the house. Parking in Seattle is not always easy, and so that was a plus. It made us feel like we were living there instead of being in a hotel. We loved our visit to Seattle. Did Pikes market of course. Be sure to visit the Chukar stand in the market and buy those famous chocolate cherries. We also did some interesting street markets in Ballard and Fremont on a Sunday. Thanks Joe for a great place and we will return.

Joe was great in answering my emails. This victorian home was beautifully remodeled and a great place to stay. Located not far from downtown. Obviously the place was very well maintained and the place "delivered" more than what the pics showed. I would stay here again.

We had such a great stay at Joe's property. It is everything that is depicted in the listing and more. The apartment was perfect for our needs. The amenities were top of the line. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need. Great cookware, which was a plus for us because we cooked in a lot. The bed was very comfortable with great linens. Everything was clean and well maintained. Joe was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. We would recommend this property to anyone. A great location to just walk to restaurants and coffee shops. We will definitely stay here on any future trips to Seattle. Thanks Joe!

My husband, daughter and I stayed for a week here at Christmas so that we could spend the holidays with our son and daughter-in-law and new grandson who live nearby. The house was well-equipped and a good size. We also had our daughter's chihuahua with us and went for many nice walks around the neighbourhood and to Volunteer Park. There are beautiful old homes in the area. It is also very convenient to downtown - only 1 bus ride! Joe was very accommodating. The air mattress for the pull out sofa had a leak and he was willing to go out and get us a new one xmas eve!! The radiant heating in the floors was great and the kitchen was very updated and modern, as was the bathroom. We would definitley recommend this place!

My wife and I rented this place in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle for the month of October 2010. Given the reviews, the photos and talking with Joe, the owner, we were expecting good things... and this rental was just that - it was fantastic. Joe has all the i's dotted and the t's crossed: fresh linens, refills on all the necessities, plenty of dishes and cooking supplies and, of course, the decor was great as well. Very well done. The location was exactly what we were looking for, close to the action but still in a relatively quiet neighborhood. 4 blocks in any direction you'll find coffee shops, restaurants, great boutique shops and grocery stores. Volunteer park was 4 blocks north and the perfect place for a morning run with the dog. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay in early August was lovely. There was plenty of space for two of us and we felt perfectly at ease entertaining for local friends. The kitchen was a fun space to use for cooking. We wanted to set up a video camera and start our own show! Other amenities were great. We were unable to take advantage of the bikes, but they looked fantastic. It was nice having the laudry facilities inside the apartment and the all of the windows made the breezes flow easily through the property. This was our splurge for the summer and it was well worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed this home and highly recommend the space. Everything we needed was readily available and we particularly appreciated the cleanliness and crisp atmosphere. Additionally, the price is phenomenal, so much cheaper than a hotel - and you have everything you need (it was like I was in my own home). The location is too good to be true - in the heart of the city, 5 minutes from downtown Seattle.

My husband, son, and I stayed here for three nights in July 2010. The apartment is beautiful -- all the charm of an old house with all of the luxuries and conveniences of a well-done update. The apartment is light and airy, with high ceilings, hardwood floors, large windows, and lots of natural light. The decor is lovely. Beds (including the sleeper sofa) were comfortable. The kitchen is very well-stocked. The linens, both bath and bed, are all nice. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. The Capitol Hill neighborhood is a hip, fun place to visit in and of itself (among other things, the Elliott Bay Book Company, Trader Joes, Molly Moon's ice cream, and many good restaurants are located there, all a quick, pleasant walk from the apartment). Plus, it's an easy walk or bike/bus ride into downtown or Pike Place Market from this location. We loved this unit and would not hesitate to stay there again.

It was nice to see that the pictures on the website were exactly the same as the property once we entered. Capitol Hill is a fantastic location and is easily accessible from I5 and other major freeways. We really enjoyed the modern appliances, and being able to cook our own food. Having twins in the house didn't seem to bother any of the neighbors and consequently we did not here any of the other renters in the 5 days that we stayed. Definitely consider this rental if you want a modern apartment like accommodation in the heart of beautiful Seattle.

I booked Joe's property for a birthday trip for my husband. The photos looked great online, but being there in person is even better. It is located in a quiet neighborhood convenient to public transportation, but within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and parks. For those with a car, there is even private off street parking in the rear of the home, which is a wonderful perk on Capitol Hill. Everything in the home is updated and modern, with a large kitchen and spacious bathroom. Joe did a terrific job remodeling and he was so easy to work with, answering my questions promptly. We would definitely rent this property again and would highly recommend it to others. If you rent make sure that you take a walk to Volunteer Park which has wonderful views of Puget Sound and the Space Needle. We had some wonderful meals at Pasta Bella in Queen Anne, The Kingfish Cafe, 602 19th Ave East and breakfast at B&O, which is within walking distance on Capitol Hill. Thanks again, Joe! My husband was most impressed with the accomodations and loved his birthday weekend.

Looking for a relaxing family weekend in Seattle but not a downtown hotel experience this was the perfect property. It's so well-located and within walking distance of either a bus route to the downtown core or a healthy walk to the center of it all. We loved the Victorian neighbourhood and enjoyed a lovely walk in Volunteer Park and a great movie at the local historical Harvard Theater. There are plenty of shops and coffee houses nearby. Joe's home is beautifully finished, warm and comfortable with every amenity and lots of light. It is meticulously kept and has a contemporary design that's casual at the same time. We'll definitely return and highly recommend the property.

Joe's rental is by far a 10 out of 10. My husband Luke and I recently stayed at this simply but beautifully decorated home. The location is absolutely perfect if you're looking to explore multiple parts of the Seattle area. Pike's market and shops on Capitol hill are all in easy walking distance and the surrounding neighborhood was serene. Inside the rental was very clean and cozy... Not to mention having access to a washer and dryer was a lifesaver! Everything about this rental was more than expected for such a great price. Joe, thank you for your quick and easy communication. We will definitly be back!

The description of this property was spot on. The property was immaculate and up to the minute, and every detail or need has been anticipated. A thoughtfully-done notebook answers all questions on how to operate the big screen TV's, DVD players, maps to the supermarket, recommended restaurants, etc. The owner was extremely obliging. Truly, we hated to leave.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Joe's wonderful house in October and I have to say- It was the most wonderful vacation experience we've ever had. The house is absolutely beautiful and in the most perfect location. It was in walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, quiet and peaceful, and in a really beautiful neighborhood. I rented the house for my boyfriend and I for his birthday. I wanted to actually FEEL like we lived there. I've always wanted to move to Seattle (never actually having been there!) so it was the perfect way to act like were living there. We're planning on coming back in February, and hopefully we can stay here again. I wouldn't have it any other way!!! Thank you Joe for the wonderful experience :)) Veronica and Jose
