Villa Ridaldi is a classic 18th century Tuscan manor house divided into three renovated apartments in the heart of Chianti. The property is within walking distance of the little town of Lamole which offers a restaurant and a small grocery store. The larger towns of Greve and Panzano are both about 5 km (3 mi) away. Florence and Siena are reachable in about thirty minutes.
The villa is surrounded by a 3 acre estate made up of vineyards and olive groves. A swimming pool (5 x 10 mt/15 x 30 ft) is nestled into the stone terraces below the property and offers unbeatable views of the surrounding Chianti countryside.
The apartment is 700 sq feet (65 sq meters) and very comfortable. It is furnished in a country style with typical Tuscan pieces.

Year Purchased: 1965
I am Italian and grew up in Florence. In 1965, before I was born, my parents bought this 18th century Tuscan villa on a hill overlooking Greve. I spent my childhood summers and many wonderful weekends chasing butterflies, picking grapes, and helping my mother in her garden. Today I have a family and we spend our vacations at our country house. This country retreat has become as important to my young daughter as it is to me. Over the years the property has been renovated. We now have four apartments. My mother keeps one, I have the other, and two are available for rent. It is our pleasure to share this enchanting hilltop in Tuscany.

My parents bought this property because we are from Florence and we love the Chianti countryside. It has always served as our country house. Over the years it has been renovated and divided into four separate apartments, two of which are for rent. The villa has all the modern comforts but has retained its old Tuscan charm.
