STAY 7 NIGHTS AND ONLY PAY FOR 6. WIFI in the condo. Bring your groceries because you won't want to leave once you arrive. With wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling windows giving you the perfect 8th floor unobstructive view of the beach and ocean from the living room, dining room, kitchen and large balcony 24/7 all you can say is 'wow'. You will feel as though you have just walked into your own beautiful vacation beach home. We have made this cozy, beautiful and livable for all. You will find the decor to be nautical/coastal with a flair for elegance and fun. Throughout the condo are solid wood doors and baseboards giving it the classic nautical touch. The leather couch and loveseat are lazy boy recliners with just a push of a button. Four recliners in all. Also, in the living room you have a couch/trundle bed that is brand new. So you have the opportunity for 2 comfortable twin beds in the living room without having to move furniture around to make room. This is a bonus if you want to sleep in the living room and watch the sun come up in the morning. You also have a 46' flat screen tv in the living room which opens up the windows for the perfect view of the ocean.
The bedrooms are very different from one another. The nautically themed master is calming, cozy and warm. It has a comfortable king size bed with a 32' flat screen TV and DVD system. It is the perfect place for an afternoon nap. The Starfish guest room which has a comfortable king bed and a 32' flat screen TV with DVD system is a happy room. It is very light, elegant and fun. The bedrooms are carpeted. An Italian tile is throughout the rest of the home.
The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. This includes a variety of spices. When I am here I cook almost every meal. And I don't particularly like to cook. But with the view you have from the kitchen, I enjoy cooking here. The appliances are top of the line. The kitchen is very functional with beautiful white bead board cabinets throughout and vibrant blue corian counter tops. You also have a large pantry for groceries so storage is not a problem. For the coffee drinker there is a thermal coffee pot for fresh coffee with every pour. Also, in the lobby every morning fresh coffee is made for guests. Walking on the beach in the morning with a cup of coffee is a perfect way to start out a great day.
The tiled outdoor patio has four cushioned chairs. Two of the chairs are high profile captain chairs for the perfect unobstructed ocean view.
When looking for a condo I first graded each building, amenities, and property management. The Sea Gull won hands down. It is a very well maintained 11 story building. Management is on site 24 hrs a day, very friendly and helpful. Maintenance is also on call 24 hrs. The heated swimming pool and hot tub are great. You can get pool towels from the front desk as well as bags of ice.
The beach is just outside the building a few steps down the boardwalk. Outdoor showers are on the boardwalk so that you can wash sand off everything and everyone. A nice dip in the pool is always nice after coming in from the beach. Gas BBQ grills are located in the pool area near the shaded sitting area. Fishermen with boats have ample parking in the rear of the parking lot for easy access. You can also view your boat from the front door of your home. On the side of the building is a fish cleaning station. In the summer the Sea Gull offers a variety of crafts and fun for the kids. The schedule of events is posted daily so that you can plan your day. The lower level of the building has very nice coin operated laundry facilities. Bring your own laundry detergent, the vending machine can be out during peak season. Also on this floor is the game room, pool table, ping pong table and small work out area as well as vending machines for sodas and snacks.
Port Aransas is full of unique shops and many restaurants. It makes for a fun day exploring this wonderful little town and what it has to offer.
No matter where you stay eat well, laugh a lot and enjoy your vacation.

It was a perfect weekend. My husband Joe and I gathered together four of our best friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. We cooked, swam in the Gulf, enjoyed the view, especially the full moon rising, and made ourselves at home. This condo is different from any other I've stayed in at Port Aransas because it really feels like home, not a rental. Thank you for offering such an awsome place to stay. What a great place to relax. The full moon on the water was an amazing delight. Of course your accomodations are truly perfect for folks like us that just want to chill. The view is utterly breathtaking, the movies were enjoyable, the kichen perfect for all our home cooked meals, Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would like to take this time to thank you both for sharing your condo this past weekend. It was decorated beautiful and your view and amenities were beyond expectation. About the owner: My dream came true when we purchased our condo in July of 2009. My favorite things are listening to the waves roll in, the clean fresh smell of the salty air and walking the beach searching for the perfect shells. I try to get to the condo as much as possible. Danny and I have a ranch in the hill country west of San Antonio and it is very time consuming keeping everything up. Danny is out of the country most of the time so I stay busy. My down time is when I get to go to the coast. And I love down time. I only wish I got it more often. But we do love sharing our dream home with people who enjoy it as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Sea Gull:
Port Aransas has so much to offer. Unique shops, some great restaurants, a simple way of life. The beaches are some of the best I have seen. They are very well maintained and monitored. I really like that the Sea Gull is down from Port Aransas a few miles on Mustang Island. Therefore, we do not have the crowds of people and vehicle traffic that you do closer to Port Aransas. This is the best location on the island.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
During summer months cabanas are set up for guest and beach loungers are supplied all year round. The units are very quiet. It is rare if at all that you hear anyone in a condo next to you. The patios are totally private. This is very nice. Even though it is a condominium building it is so private you forget you have neighbors.
