From the moment you enter this spacious (1610 sq ft) luxury, townhouse style vacation home your reaction will be “WOW”. Starting with the spectacular views from the south facing patio you will truly feel that you are in for a very special vacation experience. Located on the 15th hole of the Ted Robinson Jr, designed Challenge Golf Course, you look over a brilliant green double-fairway, proliferated with towering palm trees. The patio comes equipped with brand new patio furniture, with umbrella, and a natural gas barbeque. Gazing over the fountains on the lake you experience the tranquility of the Santa Rosa Mountains framing the valley. You will never tire of this stunning vista.
The house itself is immaculate, with everything needed for your comfort and convenience. The gorgeous renovated kitchen with granite countertops, copper cooking pots and movable island are a chef’s delight. The living room and dining room are warm and inviting, with expansive views through the floor to ceiling windows. For your entertainment pleasure there is a 42-inch high definition flat screen TV with Denon surround sound system. The wet bar is perfectly located to facilitate entertaining in the desert. The den/office off the kitchen is a perfect multimedia retreat, equipped as well with high speed internet for surfing, or checking in back at the office. There is direct access to the home from the large secure double garage. Completing the ground floor is a charming half bath and full laundry facilities.
Upstairs, the master bedroom provides yet another opportunity to take in the fabulous views, from the second floor balcony. The large bedroom has lots of room for the brand new California King bed with new linens and bedding. It comes fully equipped with large stereo system and television. An enormous walk in closet ensures your belongings are organized and ready to go. The master bath has double sinks, separate toilet area and a great arched window above the shower to create a unique bright lit area.
The guest bedroom has a new Queen sized bed and new linens and bedding. The guest bath also enjoys double sinks and a lovely shower area. There is plenty of closet storage space and the room comes complete with its own television as well.
The den is fully equiped with stereo system, tv, desk with high speed wireless internet. It comes complete with a trundle bed that can be configured for a queen size or split into two single beds. The unit features telephone service with unlimited long distance calling within North America.
Feel free to pull out the Bocce Balls and have a match or go for a bike ride. A few steps away is a beautiful swimming pool and spa to relax, slide under a shady palm tree or watch the golfers attempt to hit over the lake. As well, there is a stunning Olympic-sized pool at the main clubhouse. The Palm Valley Clubhouse is a fantastic facility and provides great meals, views and places to just wind down.

We live in Vancouver, British Columbia, a city made beautiful by mountains, ocean, city scapes and abundant nature. Great as it is, there is something about the desert and 350 days of sunshine that is hard to beat, especially when the monsoons hit home on the West Coast. We bought our property in 2009 after several years of searching. I can say that after personally viewing over 150 homes in the area, I never came across a more spectacular view than from our patio. Of course, we happen to love golf so the appeal of being on the course was rather large. We hope retirement isn't too far off but meanwhile we know that you will enjoy our home for your special vacation.

We immensely enjoyed staying at this condo from January 29, 2011 till February 12, 2011. This condo with its sweeping views leaves nothing to be desired, is immaculately clean and well-maintained. We were attracted by the description and the photos and found that they matched with reality. We do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone of our friends. A car is essential, but everything that could possibly be of interest is within easy reach. We enjoyed going to the "Living Desert", the Indian Canyons, Joshua Tree National Park, the Saturday-market at the College of the Desert and we frequented the following restaurants: "Thai Smile", "Acqua Pazza", "Donatella" and the Friday-Buffet at the Marriott hotel. Whenever we were "home", we enjoyed watching the people playing Golf (some of them were cheating!) and we are glad we had the choice of so many television channels, including some without this "bombardment" of commercials. The communication with Karen and Don to set up this rental was very pleasant and efficient. Need we say anymore: it was wonderful and relaxing.
Recommended for:Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Recently returned from a stay at this resort & condo and found it to be a very enjoyable experience. The grounds and community area are beautiful and the condo was very spacious, clean and had lot's of excellent features including free internet, phone calls. We lived on the patio which had great furn. and a view of the golfers teeing off #15 The pool was a few steps away and was often exclusively ours to enjoy. My 2 18 year olds lived in the hot tub in the cool evenings. Easy to rent, emails were returned promptly, a nice touch with a welcoming phone call, and my damage deposit was returned a few days after my return. The people at the gate were friendly and were accomodating with any guests coming for a visit. Restaurants and grocery stores were close by and

As well, there were always golfers nearby to watch, both teeing off and on the green. It was great having the two-storey layout, with no- one above or below us. The pool and hot tub were close, and very rarely was anyone else there. The condo was very clean and nicely furnished, and convenient to a good grocery store. We hope to return next year.

We spent one week at this lovely Palm Valley condo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo had a wonderful southern exposure with a view of the lake and the added sounds of water fountains in the background. There was plenty of space for two of us, but four people would be at ease here as well. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen very easy to work in. Also,the hot tub and pool was conveniently located within eyesight. We felt that this unit provided a positive, relaxing outlook...we also enjoyed the flat-screen tv, surround sound system and Internet access. We would definitely choose to rent this unit again, both for short and longer stays. It was an added bonus that we had the opportunity to golf on the Championship Course, which was beautifully manicured and challenging as well.
