Why the Owner Chose Black Diamond Lodge
We have been coming to Park City since 1995. Utah has the "best snow on earth." The "Deer Valley Difference" makes skiing here a joy.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We enjoy the World Class Service including a Concierge, private shuttle, ski valet, daily après ski drinks and hors d’oeuvres in the lobby, and the complimentary continental breakfast. It’s a short walk to Snow Park Lodge and the spectacular Seafood Buffet.
Coming this Season will be easy access to the brand new St. Regis Resort at Deer Crest via the funicular which runs at the entrance to Black Diamond Lodge. The anticipated opening is November 1st 2009. We have heard that they will be opening a World Class restaurant and a spectacular lounge.
We really enjoy the ease and convenience of our unit at Black Diamond Lodge. While there are other ski in/out properties at Deer Valley, Black Diamond Lodges offers the easiest access to ski school for families and also easier access to Park City attractions, such as Historic Main Street, than the other properties that are further up the mountain.

We (our son and selves) have stayed at this property on four separate ski trips to Deer Valley and it remains our favorite accommodation, by far. The views from this penthouse's rooms, porches and hot tub are excellent. It is private, quiet, relaxing and luxurious. Everything is surprisingly easy here. The drive in from town is short and simple in any weather. Parking is secure, plentiful, heated and the elevator provides close access to the penthouse. The ski locker room is warm, spacious, bright from lots of windows, and truly ski-in/out - steps away from the snow. Kick off your skis, step in and the valet will bring in your skis while you unbundle at your locker. After taking off our boots at the locker we usually step into the lodge for snacks (e.g., we've had smoked salmon, baked goods, hot drinks, beer, wine). Then we head up to the room and soak in the hot tub, and plan dinner arrangements. We enjoy cooking in the gourmet-quality kitchen, walking 5 minutes to the outstanding seafood buffet (yes, an outstanding seafood buffet in the mountains), or taking the short drive into town for many other options. The convenience and luxury continue on Deer Valley's slopes. Waiting is typically short for lifts and food. Resort Mountain Hosts are very knowledgeable about where to go given the day's conditions. We view our regular trips to this property as one of the year's highlights. Highly recommended.
