The apartment is equipped to the highest standard and includes a flat panel TV with Sky TV (including sports and movie channels), DVD player with a selection of 50 plus movies, unlimited internet access (own laptop required) and free telephone calls to the USA, Canada and 34 other countries.
Dornoch is a small town, steeped in history and in a designated National Scenic Area of the Highlands of Scotland. It is famous for its cathedral and championship links golf course. Situated on the east coast, an hour north of Inverness, Dornoch enjoys the status of a well-to-do holiday resort with miles of sandy beaches. Easily accessible by road, rail and air, it is ideally situated for exploring the North and West Highlands. Opportunities abound for walking, hill climbing, cycling, horse riding, angling, bird watching and, of course, playing golf.
Records show that golf has been played in Dornoch since 1616. The championship links course was designed by Old Tom Morris. Regularly ranked among the top 15 best courses in the world, Tom Watson, five times Open Champion, said “It’s the most fun I’ve ever had on a golf course.” Sean Connery wrote in his book Being a Scot “During the filming of Goldfinger I learnt the essential challenge of links golf in Royal Dornoch, in the north-east Highlands. Ever since then I have been drawn to links golf and its enduring challenges."
Formed in 1877, Dornoch has been a Royal Club for over 100 years. As well as the championship golf course there is a 2nd 18-hole course known as the Struie. In addition, Skibo Castle, Tain, Golspie, Brora and Bonar Bridge courses are all within 20 miles.
The apartment enjoys a prime position in The Dornoch Square conservation area overlooking Dornoch Cathedral (founded in 1224), the court house (built 1850), the old jail (now an up-market gift shop) and the 15th century bishop’s palace (now a hotel). The Dornoch Firth and Sutherland Hills may be seen in the distance.
Local services are on the doorstep and include restaurants, tea rooms, antique shops, bank, post office and general stores.

BOOKING INFORMATION
* A standard rental week runs from Saturday to Saturday, however the apartment may also be rented for a 3 or 4 day break at 70% of that week's rate
* 25% of the full rental price is required to secure the booking
* The balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival
