Ideal location and a lovely flat. Kitchen very well stocked. Absolutely fantastic that there was Sky TV and wifi. Everything was so easy. Would recommend this over any hotel in the area.

The central location of the house was fantastic. Inside there was everything we could want and some things we even hadn't thought of! Having internet access was great as we used it to find places of interest to visit. The Dornoch Inn was right on our doorstep and we enjoyed great meals and friendliness from everyone we met.

We stayed for four days over Hogmanay and arrived on a cold wet windy afternoon. The apartment was warm, comforting and spacious. Everything we needed for our stay, which we had forgotten or not thought about was provided. The apartment was spotless and kept in immaculate condition. The living room was large enough for us to entertain friends and family and looked out over the square which was ideal for nipping in and out during the street party. The apartment was perfectly located. We thought it was tremendous value and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

This was the first of 3 vacation homes we rented in Scotland this trip. The only one with free Wi-Fi - and a washer AND dryer. Such a bonus when you are playing golf in the rain. The free long distance telephone was also great as our cell phone was very expensive. We will definitely be back.

The flat was light and airy. It was beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped. I loved the library the owners had provided - we had the feeling that if we met them, we would be very good friends! We appreciated the long distance phone and wireless services. It was nice to discover a good butcher in town, as well as the Wed. a.m. fishmonger in the square. Convenience to golf courses was great too.

Just returned from a stay in this fabulous apartment. It was spotlessly clean and had every amenity. I would not stay anywhere else should we return to Scotland. Location was wonderful, the history amazing. Kitchen was particularly well appointed. We have used VRBO many times and been pleased, but this apartment surpassed our expectations. Thanks.

We were thrilled to find the Dornoch condo was right in the main square of the quaint village, steps from the Royal golf course that was the main attraction for our stay. The restaurants were all within walking distance. This two bedroom was perfect for two couples, with the exception that one bedroom had twin beds. This is an exceptional base for exploring golf in the Highlands.

Met all our expectations and more. Ideally located, views of the Cathedral and town square, and best of all, only a 5 minute walk to one of the world's best links course. An immaculate, comfortable and well appointed flat: great accommodation for those who like to relax, cook, hike, golf or just experience wonderful Scottish hospitality. The golf at the Royal Dornoch is memorable, for those with a little energy, a hike up to the Earl of Sutherland's monument on Ben Braggie is well worth the effort. A near perfect getaway, highly recommended!!

I feel very lucky that my friend asked me if I’d like to come up to Dornoch with her. The apartment is lovely – everything you need, warm, comfortable and inviting. Enjoyed mooching around Dornoch and especially recommend going down to the beach at sunrise – the glow of pink and gold in the sky, on the distant hills and mountains, and reflected in the sands. So beautiful! The easy drive north to John O’Groats was stunning too!

Lovely setting. A nicely equipped property. Unsure if this location would be suitable without a car. Great location for touring the north of Scotland. Owner/manager very helpful. Would return to this location.

We very much enjoyed our stay in your lovely apartment. It was a good home base from which we could freely discover the beautiful Highlands. To other visitors we recommend the Shin Falls, the Black Isle and driving up to see Dunbeath, Noss Head, Duncansby Head, Dunnet Head and Thurso. Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing your lovely apartment with us. The apartment is very clean, beautifully decorated, well equipped and comfortable. My only regret is that our visit there was MUCH too short. We will return and would not consider staying anywhere else. The location is very convenient to historic sites and just a short walk to the Royal Dornoch Golf Course, shops, and restaurants. The Highlands are so beautiful, simply breathtaking. Thank you for all of the information, maps, and suggestions that you provided. This is the perfect home base for exploration of the Highlands and islands. We hope to visit again soon.

This property was exactly as described. Airy, two story apartment looking down on the public square. Very clean and up-to-date with all amenities you might need. Bedrooms and baths on second floor, living space and kitchen on third floor. Close to the market, bank, pubs, bus stop and 10 min. walk to golf course. Would recommend to pickiest friends and would certainly book the same unit again. Our contact person, Gillian, was very, very helpful when we locked both sets of keys in the unit, and when we were confused on our check-in date. Oops! Plenty to do in the area...We went to the Dunrobin Castle, single lane roads out of Rogart and Helmsdale, seal watching by Skelbo Ruins, and Dornoch beach. The Inverness bus picked us up and took us to John O'Groats, and we ferried to the Orkneys. The Tourist Office was very helpful. Lucky to see and hear the Dornoch Pipe and Drum Band.

Wonderful location to take daily excursions all over the north, east and west of Scotland. Well equipped apartment with lots of helpful information and tourist bureau just across the street. Walking distance to all the pubs and restaurants in town or make your own meals in the kitchen that had all the amenities of home. Loved all the walking trails in town, the golf course and the forest walks in the highlands outside of Dornoch. Only issue would be two full sets of stairs to get to the living area for anyone with mobility problems.

We travelled to Dornoch for the golf and really enjoyed the proximity of the apartment to the golf course (right around the corner). The place was nice and well maintained and perfect for our needs.

Dornoch is a quaint village full of charm with its stone cottages and thousand year old cathedral and castle. We had wonderful strolls along the beach and through the woods. A nice way to end the day was to sip a dram of whiskey by the huge fireplace in the bar at the castle. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well stocked. It is perfectly located in the town square with it view of the cathedral tower and the firth in the distance. Dornoch is a wonderful base for exploring the highlands and we can't wait to visit again.

Flat 8 was one of, if not the best equipped self catering accommodations we have stayed at and was excellent value for money. Will certainly recommend to friends if they are going to the area.
